Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Waco

Starting to see why this place has THREE . & a half stars. I had the worst experience I have ever had in my life with an employer, I have NEVER encountered such rudeness and displeasure ever, because I’m a kind person and I have worked in the food business/CUSTOMER SERVICE most of my life so I am very patient and understanding KIND person! Also I have trained and taught what CUSTOMER SERVICE truly is. I know it’s not for everybody’s type of attitude. This definitely isn’t the job for this lady and she looked to be the manager of all things. Is this the type of ppl Pizza Hut is putting into position?? WOW!! Upon my arrival sometimes I have to wait due to the volume there, and I’m okay with it I know they will eventually get to me when they can. I am a food delivery driver (going on 3yrs). I’m usually greeted with some one who’s some what in a decent mood there. Not tonight!! Upon her walking to the counter she didn’t even look at me just came straight to the screen and said, “what’s the name?” As I’m saying, “i don’t know (and turning my screen around for her to see) she says “ok” and walks off. I didn’t even get the rest of my sentence out my mouth that I can’t pronounce the name. I HAVE NEVER been met with such incompetence that all she had to do was look at my phone compare to the name on her screen which is what EVERY employer I have ever encountered when unable to say the name. NOT HER SHE WALKED OFF AND LITERALLY ACTED LIKE I WASN’T THERE. I stood there for little bit trying to gain my composure because how do I handle this and not get the authorities called on me because what I had to say, not knowing how she could respond cuz ppl are crazy but I can definitely match it!! So I said ma’am are you going to even look at my phone, she said I don’t like things put in my face well first off I didn’t put it in her face I barely showed her my phone. She said well that’s not what I do, excuse me?? I told her this was not good customer service- She said you’re not my customer But I could be but now I won’t be Just because I’m a delivery driver doesn’t mean I shouldn’t still get customer service. She literally didn’t care if I had my food to deliver like she was holding it hostage just because I couldn’t pronounce the name. I had to call another Pizza Hut to get the customer service number which I did turn her in. I don’t like being that person but that is how awful she was, that here I sit writing a book to save ppl from encountering this awful individual. I had to call the customer to get how to say his name just so she would give me the food. Literally 45 minutes of my time!!! I had to also turn this into the place I deliver for. This is messing with ppls money when an incompetent employer acts like this. There’s real life crazy ppl out here that don’t care about your life or theirs and will do damage for less. She risked everybody life in that store acting like that, because what if I was some one different??She eventually made eye contact with me when she proceeded to tell me that’s not her thing to look at the phone and I told her that even if it wasn’t “her thing” when being in uniform you leave personal issues at home and be customer friendly to get the job done. We can work together not against each other. All she had to do when I turned my phone around was move her eyeballs to look and compare and would have been so EASY, but no she had to act like a child and be rude about it. Almost 3 years doing delivery and I HAVE NEVER had a problem with employers looking at the name on my phone. Pizza Hut please offer this girl training 101 on customer service etiquette. Honestly it just felt like she is not a nice human period. And needs training in just being kind but this title of customer service isn’t for everyone. She should be in the back not dealing with customers. She had red hair with black roots, Hispanic, lots of make up on her face (not that I care how much make up a person wears I’m just giving a description of who she is). Can't speak for the food aside from the hot soft drink. But having broke down in their parking lot I asked for a jump and it was no problem right after they finished loading the large pizza order in the back of someone's truck. However the employee never showed. Half hour later checked back and was told they do have jumper cables but they were busy. I said I understood and went to wait with my hot soda. Three hours later it's now dark, I have a two hour drive back to Dallas and they won't release a simple inside employee three minutes for a jump to a person in need. Either management at this location doesn't understand any person in their presence in need is a potential future customer, simply was raised to treat their fellow people's like lowest class, or this is just the norm here in Waco and I'm in the wrong. Surely I could have purchased a pizza, would that have made me worthy, hmmm. I wonder. It's pizza hut, like all the rest.. this locations exception is the phenomenal employee dedication to the cause. I highly recommend this location.. I give it one star only because they lost one for every hour I waited in the heat for it to get dark out to stole just before closing none of the employees had jumper cables. Bad customer service! My pizza arrived cold so we called back and they offered to refund I asked them instead to make the order again, they agreed. Then I recieved a phone call stating that they would like for my sister to return the old pizza when the driver delivered the newest order, I told them that was fine. About an hour later I called them and asked how much longer on the pizza (at this point my kids were hungry and looking for something else to eat) I asked the person on the phone to speak to a manager and they put me on hold and hung up on me 3 times! The 4th time the manager finally answered and said “What do you want? You already got your pizza!” He then accused me of throwing the pizza at the drivers face! He threatened me and told me that he had Waco PD with him. I then called Waco PD myself to clarify what had happened and that I never once threw anything at the driver, they said they hadn’t recieved any phone calls from them. This place should be shut down!
