Went in at lunch today, walked up to counter, the lady looked at me, her cell started ringing, she answered it and went to the back. I saw her throught the window she went back behind the food prep area. I went around the counter and told the girl with the ear head set, hey I am at lunch, my time is limited that lady just walked to the back. She said someone will be with you in a few minutes. A few minutes later, she helped me, took my order. While I was paying the other lady returned. She greeted the people behind me with a smile, and asked to help them. I asked her her name, she said Peggy. I paid got my number & cup. I sat down, a few minutes later Peggy came to my tableaskes me why I asked her name. I told her I was going to write a review about the rudeness I experienced. She told me that was my boss! I said I have a boss too! And all bosses know the importance of serving your customers on a timely manner. Especially during lunch! She said, I am sorry I hope you enjoy your sandwich. I told her I hope so too! She did not offer some kind of "peace treaty" anything. The fact that she was white, and the people she greeted behind me were white, makes me feel unwelcome. Not sure if I will be back, knowing how I was not appreciated for being a customer. Made me feel I was the...
Read moreI called in and paid for a to go order 5 hours before it needed to be picked up, as my sister was picking it up for us and she has early onset dementia. Things are already hard enough for her when things are made simple. She pulled up to the sign and told them she had an order to go. She was told to pull around. The girl at the window didn’t say a word to her just stared at her. My sister then spoke first and asked if she wanted her name. The girl at the window just stared so my sister gave her the name. The girl at the window handed my sister a bag, still NOT SAYING A WORD and walked away from the window. My sister didn’t know if she was going to get another bag to complete the order or what so she waited. The lady came back to the window and just stared at my sister again. My sister asked if that was all for the order and the lady only said the receipt is on your bag isn’t it? My sister hates leaving the house for reasons just like this one. People are rude and hateful and they have no idea how it affect people with disabilities. I am disgusted with how she was treated and will be making a complaint further up the chain and will never go to another Schlotzsky store again. Shame...
Read moreThis was a very busy place. When I turned in the drive through it was full for the lunch rush. I decided to try my luck inside instead of waiting in the line. Staff inside was friendly and service was great. I was impressed how quickly the "Original" sandwich came out with the line outside. Food was good as always. Here is where they got a 4 rather than a 5. I called to place the order before leaving work. To make the process faster. The asked of I could hold and they left me there for over 10 minutes. I finally started towards the restaurant still on hold for another 5 minutes. Finnally hung up and decided to just order when I got there. If thst hadn't happened I would have 5...
