I am new to Waco and have experience my first RUDE person. I took a ring that I bought in Spain to have the stone reset as it came out of the setting. When I picked up my ring they had glued the stone back into the setting ruining the clarity of the stone - the glue made it cloudy and you could see bubbles in the glue through the stone. I told the young woman sales rep that this was unacceptable to me and they needed to redo the work. She went back to the back and returned 10 minutes later to tell me that there was nothing they could do and that they would refund my $30 for the repair work. I said, "This is not acceptable to me, you have ruined my ring - its in worse shape than when I brought it to you." I then requested to speak to the owner. The sales rep went in the back and I waited another 15 minutes for her to return. She said that they are pulling out the glue to return the ring in the state that I gave it to them in but likely they are going to break the stone in the process. My response: "What are you going to do about that, are you going to replace the stone?" Her reply: "No". So my response was, I asked to speak with the owner and you have yet to produce the owner, you have ruined my ring and... At this point a man comes flying out of the side door screaming at me telling me to get the "hell out of his store". He all but through my ring at me and demanded I leave his store. At this point I said, "I am going to post on social media a VERY negative review." His response: "Are you threatening me?" in a very derogatory, threatening way. Then he said state your full name for the cameras. And kept screaming "Are you threatening me?" My response: "I have not threatened you physically only stating my recourse. Like David A. stated in another review "When Michael (owner) is made aware of the incompetence of his staff or other problems, he turns the situation around and accuses the customer. Please do not go to this establishment. They are crooks. They gave me my ring back, ruined and I still had to pay for...

2nd review post. I can't remember 7 years ago but people remember how you treated them. The 1st review must have been when they had possession of my ring and well, brownie points! (Government class taught that) but it was a Gabriel and Co. ring and being in Austin for the day, a jewelry shop was advertising Gabriel and Co. products then i remembered what i really wanted to say. The original ring had 14kt stamped in it and Gabriel and Co. engraved on the inside. After resizing my ring, both stamps were gone. I didn't want to make an issue because I had heard that Michael (owner) got upset at a man who wanted a refund but shouted and chased him out the door instead. Go to Kindler's (Central Tx Marketplace) or Boozer's....i havent been to D'Amore yet.

The staff here is great and I got a reasonable price for my beautiful ring. I cannot wait to do business with them as they answered all of my questions (said 14k, was 10k on the tag but I miscalculated), phoned when they said they would. (The kids were very surprised! As was I.) So I had a great purchase, and the young lady who helped us was wonderful and Michael's handiwork is just awesome....instead of thinking out the gold to resize they actually put more in I think. If you do business with this place don't deal with aliyah she's very nice until they get your money then she becomes very rude... I guess I'll take my other 7 grand somewhere else lol..smh

Michael is cool if aliyah allows you to talk to him or conveys a message to him... I wonder if he knows she just let money walk out the door because of her attitude...

You might want to spend your money somewhere else where they treat you the same after you spend your money with them... I believe her name is aliyah she's a spanish girl that wears glasses she won't be hard to spot.

Update... I was in there today and dealt with the mother or the sister of the owner not sure but she was nice until I paid I was talking to her and she just like uhh huh ok pretty much brushed me off. Both times I've been there she's gave negative vibes. Only went there as a last minute gift but trust I won't be back ill plan more accordingly next time.
