Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Waco

First, I'm a donut kinda guy. Donuts. It's what's for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack or after-pub-crawl. So, I'm a bit of a snoot about donut shops. This one was the closest donut shop to home until recently when another big-name donut maker slam-Dunked a new location about .2 miles closer to me. I thought I'd never be back here but to my surprise, this Shipley's out-performs by a large factor in speed of service than the new donut shop that purportedly, America runs on. This Shipley's location has pretty much every type of donut style you'd want (except for french crullers dang it!!) and offer a limited line of coffees. The location is convenient and the drive-thru is functional (unlike the other shop which has a completely useless drive-thru design which blocks-off parking lot for walk-in). I go in one early morning. (I haven't been here in a long while and I won't be going back) but anyway I come in and that lady that come to the register has a whole attitude!! She has a ugly look on her face and she making faces every time I order something. So I ask is there a problem why do you have a attitude and it completely went hay wire after that she started going off on me screaming at me in front of everybody and the manager finally came around after I called her over and she literally had to hold the girl back this is so unprofessional and disrespectful. The worst Shipleys. Three times now I’ve had to deal with rude staff, one of whom stared at me like I was garbage the whole time I was there and acted like she didn’t want to take my order. Last time I went through the drive-thru they were out of cake donuts and the girl was so rude about the way she told me and it didn’t help that I just had to wait 20 minutes to get to the window. Y’all are serving people pre-made food and I was only like 2 cars behind so that doesn’t add up. Every other store in town is awesome, clean, friendly staff, never out of anything, still just as busy if not busier than this location.
