Sweetness Desserts — Restaurant in Waco

What a lovely shop! The ladies are very nice, too. We live several hours away, but when in town, we eat at a restaurant nearby. The sign and front windows drew me in, but the cupcakes will have us return every time we visit Waco! The shop is absolutely charming, the dessert displays are enticing, and the free samples are a wonderful way to "preview" the cupcake flavors. One sample of strawberry cupcake and I was hooked!!!! All the desserts are beautiful, but the strawberry cupcake is made in beautiful colors, and the icing, made with real berries, is incredible. It even has some sparkle!!! The cookies looked delicious, and all the desserts were artfully made. A sample of the fudge cupcake was very good, but their strawberry (one) is the best cupcake I have ever eaten!!!!

One of the best local bakeries here in Waco, TX! We love how there’s always a fresh selection put out daily for those on-the-fly craving and bakery needs, which never disappoint - offering a variety of cupcakes, mini cupcakes, cookies, and other sweet treats.

Sweetness does a fantastic job of capturing the beauty of top-tier baked goods, while providing moist cake bases and savory buttercream frostings to all of their creations. Most definitely an elevated dessert experience!

My first encounter with Sweetness Desserts was about 3 weeks ago. I had the Coffee Toffee Caramel cupcake. It was the best cupcake I have ever tasted. I was looking for a bakery to bake a cake for a birthday party. I was really considering Sweetness Desserts and took my daughter with me today to taste the cupcake for her opinion. Upon arriving we noticed a fly and gnats in the case where the cupcakes were kept. We were told that flies are a problem during the summer. This was a totally turn off to my daughter and I so maybe we'll return in the winter. I gave it three stars because that cupcake was delicious.
