My son with a learning disability was hired by a man named Bill who claims to gave been there for 48 years. I would NEVER recommend KFC for a teenagers first employment. My son received 1 day of orientation and then was thrown on the floor and was expected to know what to do. Did I mention he had a learning disability. So how is a teenager with a learning disability supposed to learn everything within 1 day. I also did mention this to Bill on the first day if employment and he promised he would make sure he would have appropriate orientation. My son also would come home crying because the other employees were making fun of him and talking about him. When I called Bill to let him know this he said "Well everyone gets made fun of or talked about" he made it seem as if his employees making fun and talking about others employed there was acceptable. I guess it's acceptable when its teenage girls making fun of a disabled boy. Completely uncalled for. I myself am a supervisor and would NEVER allow my employees to make another employee feel uncomfortable. Bill had said " well when my son came to work he seemed like he was bot wanting to be there!" who would want to go to a job were they are being ridiculed? I made him go to work because I felt it would get better. Well it never got better. The supervisor Bill never approached the situation. He completely ignored it. This is clearly a form of bullying. I would NEVER recommend this place for employment for a teen. Thank you and I really hope you take this into consideration before having your teenage son apply...
Read morePoor customer service. We did an order pickup online, got to the restaurant and my fiancé went in to grab our order. He brought the bag out and we realized we forgot to order a drink. He went inside to buy an extra drink and I checked the bag and noticed we were missing a fry for one of the combos and all of the condiments. Everything else was there. He went inside for the fry and condiments, and the woman behind the counter stated she “packed it herself” and it was “impossible” we were missing a fry. We had to buy an extra fry that we ALREADY paid for as part of the combo because she refused to admit she made a mistake. The name on the receipt of the fry was Harmony, but uncertain if that was the persons name behind the counter or not. Normally these types of things wouldn’t be an issue, it happens. I can understand in a busy and fast paced environment to forgot an item or two. But flat out refusing to give us what we paid for after politely asking for it is absolutely poor customer service. Aside from that, the food was hot and we had no issues with it. Just sucks we had to pay for someone...
Read moreKFC used to be a fairly good chicken place but since covid has taken place things have gone to hell in a handbasket. People that work in these restaurants don't care about the quality of the food that comes out or how fast they can get it to you. I think that's where the manager should step in and take control. I've worked in restaurants in the past for over 20 years manager and everything and as a manager you supposed to look over what your employees do and how they do it. If I only made your chain food restaurant and my employees that work for me did not do a quality job then they would get reprimanded. But anyway I'm not too keen on KFC food. Now I ordered a pot pie the last time I went and it was not too bad could use a little more filling. Anyway for some people KFC maybe the restaurant for them but for me I can pretty much take it...
