Planet Smoothie — Restaurant in Wake Forest

So I've been a customer of Planet Smoothie for 25 years and with 8+ million views (I'm happy to upload a recent email pic from Google) of my Google reviews, so I hope this finds a few corporate folks..

Thay said, you have a very limited amount of locations these days as there is only 1 within an hours drive of me and we are the 3rd largest growing area in the U.S., here I the capital city of Raleigh, NC..

I used to go to your Falls of Neuse location but it closed a while back and then I found the Wake Forest location.. I actually live in Durham and drove all the way to Wake Forest to remain a loyal customer.

That said, you used to have Styrofoam cups which kept my smoothie icy and frosty for hours (I used to buy the largest sizes as meal replacements for my fasting days)..

Now they come in plastic cups and by the time I drove 40 minutes home, my smoothie is just a semi-cool juice since it's not longer smoothie consistency.

I have started going to Tropical Amoothoe which is 1.5 miles from my house, STILL uses Styrofoam cups, AND my smoothie could sit on the counter, my desk, or my living room table for hours without losing that icy, frosted consistency.

I will say you have some better whole fruit and vegetable ingredients but you also don't carry avocado which is a huge item at Tropical Smoothie.. I usually get a 24oz smoothie with whole avacado, spinach, kale, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, and pineapple. 0 added sugars or sweetners, added collagen, chia seeds, and pea protein powder, which costs about $8. 30 grams of protein and 20 grams of fiber!!!

Again, I do lime most of your ingredients better but the shelf life of the smoothie is absolutely, and I hate to say this... EXTREMELY lackluster and could I say, trash?

I love you guys and your teams but you 120% need to go back to using Styrofoam instead of that shat Plastic.. PLEASE!!!!!

I’ve gone to Planet Smoothie for a long time so I was happy to see one in Wake Forest. I gave them a try a few weeks ago and was overcharged due to a computer glitch. The employee couldn’t fix it so dropped a note to Planet Fitness and was amazed to see the email routed to the owner and I received a response the same day. The owner apologized and offered me a free smoothie for my trouble. I went in and got my free smoothie yesterday and met one of the owners. The owners are a local WF family and the family primarily runs the store. The owner was super nice and gave me some coupons for next time. Great local service from a local family. The smoothie...

Walked in and made an IMMEDIATE U turn out the door. The absolutely overwhelming smell of lavender Fabolouso was unbearable! It smelled like a disgusting bar in there. It's supposed to smell fresh and like fruit and clean. Not like your covering something up. Do better "planet" smoothie and teach your staff how to mop properly instead of swishing overbearing chemicals on your floor. Will not return or recommend....
