Boba Tea and Snow Ice House — Restaurant in Wakefield

Highly recommend this bubble tea house to get good quality teas and snacks served by knowledgeable and super friendly staff! I've been coming to this tea house for about a year since just after they opened and their quality has always been amazing while their selection has broadened.

My go-to tea is a Thai milk tea which is fresh and sweet and not artificial since the owner makes sure to make it from leaves rather than powder; its great without topping but also with tapioca boba, pudding, or coconut jelly. Today we also tried the green Thai milk tea (also fresh and not made with powder) with pandan jelly which was phenomenal. It is floral and not too sweet which is great for spring and summer as many milk teas are much too sweet for my taste. We also tried the strawberry matcha milk tea with tapioca boba which was much better than other places I've tried as the matcha powder is high quality and the strawberry has real fresh strawberries in it with the jam.

For snacks, I love the macarons which never last long in my house, but the mochi ice cream is fresh and much better than what I've tried from the grocery store. In the past, we've also tried the waffles and the waffle with hot dogs which are made fresh and extremely tasty for a sweet and savory treat.

One of my favorite things about this spot is the owner cares about his product and makes sure to give advice for sugar level, topping, or overall kind of drink you may want if you want to try something new. Plus, there is a rewards program to get points for treats or teas later. I’ve been to many boba tea establishments, but this one has got to be one of my top favorites! Visited this new location this past weekend during its soft opening and all I can say is this establishment is beyond exceptional in terms of appearance, quality, taste, and customer service! The space was clean, spacious, and beautiful inside and out! It also has plentiful street parking, which is a plus! I had the lychee fruit green tea, mango shaved snow ice, bubble egg waffles, and chocolate hazelnut macarons. They were made fresh to order and super delicious! The owner and staff were also so kind and welcoming! Overall, the experience and food/drinks exceeded my expectations.
