Gong cha — Restaurant in Wakefield

After finishing up dinner at a nearby spot, my husband and I wanted something sweet, and we stumbled upon this brand new Gong Cha that just opened this weekend! Upon entering, the spot was bright, very welcoming, organized and extremely clean! As an avid bubble tea goer this alone already had me very excited to place my order! I’m so happy that there is finally a GongCha in the area and this place has a bit of a much more upscale ambiance compared to the other Gongcha’s that I have been to in the past! The staff were super friendly and even offered suggestions based on my flavor preferences which was super sweet of them! I ended up getting both a mango slush as well as a pearl bubble tea and both were so good! My drinks came out extremely fast and of course the taste to no surprise was great! Overall, a super inviting and fun experience- I definitely will be back with friends and family. Gotcha is always a fun time and never disappoints. We love the flavors and service. It’s really cool that you can order using the kiosk inside the store and select any of the options that you want. It’s also a large selection of food items that are available, which seem interesting, but I have not tried any of them yet. If you’re in Wakefield and on Main Street, you’ll know exactly where this is because it’s right across the street from cravings which is another ice cream store, that’s very popular in this area. As of the writing this review, this place has just opened two days ago and is already extremely packed and doing incredibly well. I’ve been coming to this Goncha location for a while now, and it’s always been a great experience! The drinks are consistently fresh, delicious, and made just the way I like them. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the menu has plenty of options so there’s always something new to try.

The store itself is clean, welcoming, and has a really nice vibe—perfect for grabbing a quick drink or hanging out with friends. But what really makes this place stand out is the owner and the staff. Every time I’ve come in, I’ve been treated with kindness and genuine hospitality. You can tell the owner truly cares about her customers and works hard to make this place special.
