If you want the feel of an authentic italian restaurant, DELICIOUS large portions for an unbeatable price, and all in a cozy locally owned place, this is the place to go! Massimo loves to cook and share his food. And when he gets a break from his busy kitchen he usually comes out to greet his customers and hope to see smiling satisfied faces when he asks how their dinner was! Not only is he a chef but he also freshly bakes his desserts. My faves are his tiramisu and any of the cakes and mmmm lobster tails! Nancy is the other one running the show. On a busy night you'll see her running around doing whatever their business needs: helping waitresses, greeting customers with her sweet smile and making them laugh, cleaning tables, answering phones, helping massimo in the back and even cleaning dishes. If you look around at the staff, most are family or friends that turned into fam over the year. This is truly a family business!
I have a place in my heart for small businesses and what it takes to run one. I hope you fuys reading this does as well.
Although they try everything possible to satisfy every customer, not every customer will be. It makes me sad to see the bad reviews here. If youre coming here to just read the bad reviews, youre doing yourselves a disservice. Theres more good ones than bad so please make your decision from that. Go in and see...
Read moreDo not order from this restaurant! First off, they constantly have missing items from their orders. We have ordered several times and items were missing all but one time. We ordered from there tonight and we were missing items. When i called the restaurant to explain the girl answering the phone was rude and acucused me of lying. When i told her to look at the receipt from their system, she put the owner on the phone. He admitted to the missing items but was incredibly rude instead of simply apologizing. Lastly, their menu online and on Grubhub is a mess, the descriptions of what is in each item is ccompletely wrong. For example, eggplant rollatini with ravioli yet the system makes you pick ziti or linguini. When i explained this to the owner he blames Grubhub. Food is okay but service is HORRIBLE.
**Response to owner: It would have been nice if my family could have all eaten together. But we couldnt because you missed some meals and other meals were made wrong, judging by your response on the phone and your wise guy response below shows the type of person you are. You clearly could care less about your customers and the service you provide. Learn how to read orders and have your employees speak to customers appropriately instead of telling them they are lying. You...
Read moreWent here after seeing it on Phantom Gourmet this morning, had high expectations going into it, and we left being incredibly disappointed. The food was ok, but the service was terrible. We were seated, and then it took at least 20 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order.
From there, the service got even worse. The waitress was basically non-existent, she forgot our salads, and then bagged them up and brought after our entrees. It then took another 20 minutes to get dipping oil , and a rice ball, one would think the least time consuming apps on the menu. I ordered Chicken Parm, and asked to swap the ziti out with tortellini, which I was told was totally fine. The check comes out, and I was charged an additional $9 for the pasta switch, which she never mentioned when I ordered. We were also never told that there were no free refills on sodas, which is beyond ridiculous.
Took my girlfriend here for our 1 year Anniversary, and it was by far the worst decision I’ve made throughout the entire year. Should have listened to a lot of the other reviews regarding the poor service and...
