Mix Boba Lounge — Restaurant in Walker

I've been trying to visit all of the different boba tea shops in GR since my local one closed. Unfortunately, this one was not one of the good ones. I don't often leave negative reviews, so I hope this will just offer some insight into improvements. The cost was the big one. I should have guessed it would be expensive since the prices weren't on the menu, but one large drink and one medium drink plus tip cost over $20. A bit much for a sweet treat. The inside of the shop was a bit odd. Cute chairs and very few decorations. Plus half of the shop was completely undecorated and looked like it was leftover from whatever the last shop was. It felt like a Spirit of Halloween in that it felt like a temporary shop set up inside of a building meant for a different store. Me and my roomie went here after stopping in Meijer, about ten minutes before close. We asked to make sure they were wanting to serve us (totally would understand if they didn't since it was so close to closing) and they very happily welcomed us in to order. Told us to take our time and not worry. The people working here are super sweet and warm hearted, plus the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! We got two of every flavor of macaroon. Plus, they have a student discount if you show your ID from school (15% off). I would absolutely recommend this place. They even have a main lounge with an adjacent room dedicated to studying! I will completely and totally be coming back. Good food, drinks, and vibes. I love you mix boba

I literally created an account just so I can give this place a 5 star review. I’ve never been to a boba place that cares about their customers THIS much, the workers are such genuine people that actually listened to what customers say. Every customer that entered while I stayed for a bit was greeted by name! Which was incredible, I could never memorize that many names. The smoothies are one of the creamiest smoothies I’ve had in a long time. I got a pineapple coconut smoothie with strawberry pearls and a milk tea smoothie with tapioca it was sooo good I came back the same day for some more! I will 100% be coming back tomorrow and the...
