New Beginnings — Restaurant in Walker

Definitely not LGBT+ Friendly .

Went there for breakfast as we typically like other New Beginning restaurants. When we got in we were looking for a table that would accommodate us (3 adults and 2 kids), we were looking around and there were a lot of empty unbussed tables as the staff just stared at us from the kitchen area, there was no acknowledgement, just stating. We finally found a table and I went to get a high chair, to find the whole back of the high chair sticky. After wiping it down and and going to the bathroom to wash my hands we still hadn’t been greeted or acknowledged. We looked through the menu, and all chose what we wanted to eat as we watched 2 tables that came in after us get greeted and brought drinks. After sitting there for a little longer we decided to go somewhere else, as we started to get up I heard a waitress say to the other waitress “they were JUST seated”, but again no acknowledgement, no hello, no goodbye just watched us get...

My boyfriend and i went in to this location expecting quick service just like any other location.. We sat down and sat there for a half hour waiting to be served....as we sat there a couple sat after us and a gentleman sat after them. The couple that sat after us got their order taken before us. We finally got our order taken and we didn't order anything difficult. The gentleman and the couple that sat after us got their food before us at this point we had sat their for an hour and when we asked to see our server ... We didn't see her but heard her say that we are to be told that they were short staffed when there were more than enough servers on the floor and it looked like a full kitchen staff. At this point we got up and walked out the door.....i understand that things happen but we felt completely ignored and undervalued...
