ALDI — Local services in Walker

My husband an I like so many are seeing our grocery bills get way out of control. Trying to cut back we visited ALDI for the first time. Store was clean and our cashier Joe was very nice. Bring your own bags or there .12 cents each and yes you have to bag yourself. But What a price difference. 95 cents for a loaf of white bread 20 Oz. 1.35 for honey wheat. Which I learned today by researching is made by Sara lee. Corn flakes made by General Mills 1.45. I could go on but you get the point. I learned that alot of other store brands at other stores, are made by name brands. They just change...

I come here often since I live nearby. I like that it has a lot of different products; however, quality can be questionable. I was digging through their baby carrots, a lot which were expired a week ago; thought I had finally found a good bag, but it was slimy when I got home and opened it. Also saw a bunch of moldy basil. A lot of their produce don't last once you bring it home. I heard that's how things are when they're organic, but who knows especially when the package doesn't...

Recently, I've been shopping at the Aldi in the Walker/Standale area. Because of my job,I go all over town so I've shopped at, at least, 7 different Aldi stores. I was excited to see one go up in this area too! This is a nice store! Not all Aldi stores are as nice as this one! I thought the employees were extra nice and helpful!
