CT Beverage Mart — Local services in Wallingford

My husband and I have lived in Middletown for 6 months so far and spent over $1000 on liquor at this store since we are 5 minutes away. We know every employee, and everyone is always nice. My husband went 5 minutes before they closed on a Friday night (Valentine’s Day). The (what I assume is the manager) was waiting at the door 5 minutes before closing. My husband approached the worker and asked what time they close. The clerk, responded with 8:55 even though their hours Online clearly say 9:00pm close. We both work 80 hour work weeks and all we wanted at the end of this one was a drink to share on Valentine’s Day. CT beverage mart you just lost two customers. About 10 min until closing and Guadalupe, rudely says, "we close at 6pm and you need to hurry up and be out by 6." All of their beer is mostly outside of cooler and if you plan on drinking, you'll have to wait another 3 hours for it to get cold. Been there several times when I was desperate. I wont be back. Horrible customer service. My first visit was very good the girl was very knowledgeable.
