This morning I stop in at Smoothie King’s store #1294 in Wallingford,CT. I order my usual drink. As I frequent this location. Many times there will be some extra in the bottom of the blender. I’m one to ask for the extra in a small cup, or the entire drink placed into a larger cup to NOT WASTE / THROW AWAY what I figure, I’ve payed for. So today, (employee) Tyla P. says to me after I ask can she pour the rest into a small cup replies, it’s against company policy, I then replying each morning I’ve asked without this being said. But she offers me a plastic cup for some reason. SO THE COMPANIES POLICY IS TO WASTE THE EXTRA RATHER THAN POUR INTO A SMALL CUP❔The product was paid and blended with extra left over, BUT SEE’S IT OK TO GIVE ME AN EMPTY EXTRA CUP, that i’m sure does cost the company money. If this is company’s policy, What a waste of the company’s money is being spent on your employees giving out of plastic cups❔ I was ultimately ready to just say take the drink back and refund my money to say what do you think of your company asking why was this drink refunded immediately after it’s purchase❔Sounds like your out eating dinner at one of your favorite restaurants, Not finishing all your food and ask for a to-go box and they reply with, IT’S AGAINST OUR...
Read moreI've been coming to the Wallingford store for a little over a year now, and seem to have an issue almost every time I go. I order the same two smoothies every time, and somehow one of those smoothies will never come out correctly; either it's too icy and I have to wait for it to melt just so I can sip it with the straw or it's watery. Today, I gave my usual order: MangoFest and a strawberry Hulk with strawberry Gladiator protein instead of the Hulk weight blend (my husband likes this combo and I've never had an issue ordering it before) and the employee said that he'll just make a strawberry Gladiator smoothie instead. I asked why he couldn't make it the way I've always ordered it, and he couldn't give me a good reason. This was after the fact that I was told that I was required to wear a mask regardless if I was fully vaccinated. However, both employees up front had their masks pulled down so they weren't fully masked. They then allowed two male customers that came in after me to walk in without a mask and didn't bother to tell them to put a mask on. If you're going to require everyone to wear a mask, it should be every employee (it should cover their nose and mouth), and every customer, not whoever they decide should or should not have...
Read moreHad a strange experience for my first time at Smoothie King today. I called on the phone to place an order for the new gut health papaya mango ginger smoothie. I asked if it was vegan, the person on the phone said she can make it vegan. I asked what the gut-health was and she said it was a powder. When i came in, i asked if i can see the ingredients for the gut-heath powder they add in and she said “no.” with no explanation. she wouldn’t even tell me what was in it. I’ve never been to a place where they won’t tell you the ingredients. I have allergies and a special diet. While she did say it was vegan, it was weird to me that I couldn’t know exact ingredients. If I wasn’t in a rush on my way to work I wouldn’t have taken it, but i needed something and didn’t have time to stop elsewhere. Please consider making all ingredients accessible and known...
