Went to this store to get a drink today at 6pm and the girl working the drive thru was extremely rude. Placed my order and went to pay and got told that they were not allowed to accept a 50 dollar bill on a 13 dollar order. I have never heard of a store not being allowed to take a 50. After I told her that it was all I had on me and to cancel my order she left for a few minutes then came back with my change which she tossed at me. She then went to being sarcastic and saying “do you need a straw or no” to which I replied yes. (What am I suppose to drink a Frappuccino with my hands??” She tossed the straw at me and then opened the window again and said “here” and tossed my drink into my hand and having a nasty attitude and closed the window. Extremely rude employee that doesn’t seem to want to do her job at all and furthermore wants to refuse people’s money on top of that. I am a long term customer of Starbucks and have never been treated this way before. I will go to the other one up the road and recommend others do as well, they are extremely nice there and enjoy their job and it shows. this one is horrible and I will never go there again. To little too late the people at this location should be taught how to be kind to the customers, after all we pay their pay checks and don’t deserve to have our drinks and food tossed at us because your employee decided she didn’t want to count out change and was...
Read moreI stop here almost everyday before work and was frustrated to see a school bus parked right in front of the store pretty consistently , occupying several parking spaces. This created a major inconvenience for other customers who were looking for a spot to park their cars. I approached one of the staff members and expressed my concern about the issue. However, their response was completely unprofessional and disappointing. They disregarded my request and told me to park in the next lot, which was completely out of the way. This experience left a bad impression on me as a customer. While I understand that the school bus may have had a reason for parking in front of the store, the staff members should have been more aware and helpful in finding a solution to the problem. It was disappointing to see such a lack of customer service and disregard for the needs of the other customers.I hope that Starbucks will take measures to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Customers should not have to face inconvenience due to factors beyond their control. I sincerely hope that the management of this particular location would take note and improve their customer service standards...
Read moreThis is the first time I’ve been to a Wallingford Starbucks I always go to the one in Danbury and I’ve had such a bad experience at this one. First of all when I walked in there was only one person making drinks. I asked if the Frappuccino’s had only one size or small medium or large since it didn’t say the sizes on the board. When I was talking to the girl at the register she gave me an attitude like I was asking for too much and kept rolling my eyes. Didn’t ask for my name or if I wanted any help. My friend went in with me also and complimented her eyes saying they’re beautiful and asking if they were fake because they were such a bright blue. The girl gave her an attitude kept mumbling under her breath while walking away. This is the worst experience ever. The drink was amazing since I wanted to try the s’mores Frappuccino but the customer service was absolutely awful. People shouldn’t be working in customer service if they can’t work with people. And I usually don’t post reviews but the customer service was so awful I had...
