Visited this place for first time today and I can definitely say it will not be my last! Having grown up eating Indian food I have high expectations, and this place serves AMAZING QUALITY food!! The service and atmosphere were excellent too! We were greeted by Clive Jr and he was super polite and social! Definitely ask for Him when you go. To start, we had the samosas and for entrees, I had a veggie korma with onion kulcha, and my wife had the butter chicken with garlic naan. At end we chased it down with gulab jamun and some authentic chai!! All of it was YUMMY!! I've discovered the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in Sussex County..and possibly NJ šŸ˜Š

I went to Indian Spice for the first time to pick up a takeout order. The restaurant is beautiful! Very warm, bright, and inviting! All of the staff were so nice as we waited for our order to be ready. The food was incredible! We got a variety of things: Calcutta pork ribs, butter naan, goat masala, and the corn & spinach Mac and cheese. I havenā€™t had a lot of Indian foodā€”mostly because itā€™s a drive out of Sussex County to get Indian foodā€”but now I love it!

Where do I start with this restaurant. I am going to venture to say possibly the best Indian Cuisine I have ever eaten...bar none. Started with the salt and pepper prawns. WOW! so delicious!!! Next the Chicken Chettinad....the description on the menu doesn't even begin to describe the amazing taste of this dish...so aromatic, somewhat spicy ..Amazing!!! My family also totally love the Garlic and Cheese Naan...Chili cheese toast and the Chicken Vindaloo. The price are excellent considering the quality and portion size of the food. Also the inside of the restaurant is beautifully done and the staff is amazing even though I did takeout they were very attentive. I can't say enough about this restaurant. I urge you to go even if you are unsure about Indian cuisine. The also have some Asian fusion dishes on the menu as well as an excellent vegetarian option listing!!! I give Indian Spice Route...

So excited this restaurant is here! Weā€™ve been anxiously awaiting their opening and it did not disappoint. My friend and I shared the samosas to start and then had the Punjabi chole masala (chickpea stew) and dal tadka (yellow lentils). Everything was delicious, perfectly spiced and made to order. We didnā€™t know it would be so busy but were very happy to see the restaurant was packed. We waited about 20 minutes for a table (on a Saturday evening on Memorial Day Weekend, which is not bad), so weā€™ll definitely make a reservation next time! The owners came over to our table towards the end of the meal which was really nice. Lots of vegetarian options and vegan and gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu. Amazing! Canā€™t believe this is here in Sussex County! Had the samosas as app which were perfectly crisp & deliciously spiced. Amazing coriander & tamarind chutneys served with šŸ˜ Tried something Iā€™ve never had before at any Indian restaurantā€” Dum Ka Murgh. Perfectly saucy & deliciously paired with the jeera rice! I asked for it ā€œactual spicy not white people spicyā€ and they DELIVERED! I donā€™t know if it was actually spicy spicy or just spicy for me, but it was a slow build and I couldnā€™t have been happier with it! I think Iā€™ve used an illegal number of exclamation points now but I am not exaggerating. Our server was attentive & engaging.
