I was at this location last night between 7:30PM and 8Pm. The young man working at the register (Im searching for receipt for his name) was AWESOME. These days a lot "younger" employees in the restaurant business can be a bit disconnected from the art of face to face actual social situations. This young man (im sounding like my dad) was exactly what's missing in customer service. I ordered online from the hotel and felt like taking a ride. I walked in and there was a couple of customers putting in thier order. This kid was talking to the customers (actually looking at them and listening) with a smile while keeping the line moving. He didnt have the "what'd ya want and this is how much" thing going. He asked each customer what they were doing that night, how thier day was and even throwing in some clever humor. I reached the next spot in line and was just picking up a pizza. We talked for a few minutes and he was just a good dude. Im writing this in length because I was there maybe 7minutes and it made an impact on me. I talked to my girlfriend and said there's hope for the future. We had an experience at a Papa Ginos many years ago that was horrible. So we kinda boycotted them since. I missed having that pizza and I was tired from the trip and took a chance. Ill update this when I find out his name. If he see this...Im the guy going to record with a certain band we both like.... That 7 min made up for years. I go to a lot of spots everywhere and have been seeing the decline of customer service and polite treatment in almost all industries. This young man is an example of what people miss in businesses. He's made a impact on us. Just 7 minutes. Imagine how much he does in week. Keep it up (insert name)!!! They lucked out having you there. The pizza was ridiculously delicious. I ate the whole thing. Extra large (and the crust!!! Hahahah) cheers!!! Find out his name and tell him we...
Read moreUpdated: It's been over a year since I wrote this last review and I'd like to really appreciate the changes that have been made. The last half dozen times I've gone in there, the service is much better, the food is served in a timely fashion, the wait times for pick up are actually accurate, and the food is cooked properly. I didn't catch the name of the young man that works the register now but his pleasant attitude really makes a difference!
Early 2023: More often than not, it's fine but mediocre at best. The website was down 2 days in a row, staying the store was closed, but we called and they were open. And the girl on the phone said it was because they had to close early the day before and it never got fixed. Okay, but I order online with my loyalty account and the coupon codes that I get in my email so what's the point of my loyalty account if I can't use it? A couple of weeks ago, I went in for pick up and my pizza was lost so I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for them to make a new one even the girls at the counter kept saying it was coming out. It was the manager that noticed it wasn't anywhere to be found. Ordered tonight - delivery said an hour. Okay for a Saturday night - but then it didn't actually show up until 25 minutes after it was quoted. And the food was terrible. Got about 12 French fries in my chicken tenders basket that were undercooked & cold, breadsticks had almost no cheese, were overcooked, & cold. Quality is unfortunately going way downhill here. Outsourcing to DoorDash is not going to solve the problem either because DoorDash orders always takes twice as long as a...
Read moreOrdered ahead, a rustic pepperoni. Got there 10 minutes before estimated ready time. Was told it's in the oven. Ok no problem, 10 minutes later I ask and am told it's still in the oven . Ok 5 more minutes I'm told it's still in the oven. Then I see the guy scrambling checking the oven, it wasn't there. It was sitting on the to go shelf when I walked in the beginning of my visit. So not only was it cold as it wasn't in the heated cabinet, it was just sitting on a room temperature shelf the 18 minutes I sat there being told it was in the oven. Then the man says you want to wait 10 minutes for a fresh one? No, no I don't. This is the first time I've been to this location in a couple years as the last time I ordered there it took over an hour to get my pizza. I ordered ahead, waited 15 then left. The shop is 5 minutes away I then sat there for over 30 minutes for my food. This is THE LAST time I go there. And it wasn't even well done as I had ordered, it was...
