I’ve given up all hope of ordering hoagies here along time ago, they were always made incorrectly, one way or another. . The one thing they can’t mix up is a bacon, egg and cheese on an 8 inch roll, right??? I called and ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on an 8 inch roll, American cheese. The young lady then asked if I want mayo or oregano. (I’m thinking to myself…Oh no, here we go again). I said no thank you just bacon egg and American cheese on an 8” roll.
I went to pay for it, and then looked at the information on the sandwich. It said 2X American cheese. How did that happen??? it’s called no one ever reads back the order. OH MY GOD!! What is wrong with these people!!! How can you make a mistake with a bacon, egg and cheese??? I swear they think to themselves …how they would like it made and they just do it that way instead.
I said it before, and I’ll say it again, if you notice, they have the young people making the sandwiches ,but the people that are tending the registers are older and precise when it comes to payment accuracy.
Just to let everyone know that is frustrated with this store, if you want, a fantastic hoagie, steaks made the way that you order it, EVERY TIME ..visit the nicest, friendliest competent, people at Bucks Hoagies!    Read moreAlyomonte’s used to be our “go to” place! Over the past year that has changed. Earlier this year we placed an order through catering. We picked it up and it was not what we ordered. Spoke with Kelsey and she told us she would speak with the owners and either she or the owners would get back to me. This was months ago and, so far, no return call. A few months later, I left an email and a phone message regarding a pizza making experience that I was hoping could be arranged for my husband’s retirement. Never heard a single word of response. This past weekend, we purchased a rum cake to take with us for dinner at a friend’s house. It was really bad! In fact, if the folks we were visiting weren’t incredibly good friends, it would have been embarrassing. As Altomonte’s rum cakes had always been delicious, I decided to let them know how poor the quality of the cake was. I again spoke with Kelsey. She said she would talk with the owners and get back to me later that day or the next. I haven’t heard back. Now it realize that things can get lost in the shuffle with a busy business but 3 out of 3 times is a bit much. We will most likely not purchase items from them again. A little courtesy and customer care...
Read moreMy co worker and I were working in the area for a few days and have tried this place twice. Unfortunately, the prices are very high for the quality we got and we were very disappointed. First day we ordered two cheesesteaks and even ordered both of them with extra cheese, there was barely any cheese on either of them. For $25 for two cheesesteaks, I was just steak on bread. It doesn’t even cost that much in the city for a cheesesteak. Second day I got a napoleon, some pizza, and a few grocery items for home. $6 for a napoleon and it was horrible. Stale crisps, and no flavor to the custard. I took one bite and threw it away. It looked nothing like the one I pointed out to the girl in the case. No frosting on the top either, just plain layers with some custard in the middle (the custard was bland). For an Italian market, I had higher expectations especially with how high the prices were. Extremely disappointing.
Edit: we cooked the Arancini balls we bought for $15 and my lord, horrible. Literally just bread and cheese, barely any rice. I don’t know how you can call yourself an Italian market selling...
