In restaurant visit: ordered beef brisket sandwich and fries for lunch. I asked they try to not give me all grizzle this time based off previous brisket encounters here. The girl taking the order said she would tell the kitchen. When the sandwich came out it was so chewy from so much grizzle and fat, it was not enjoyable. It was so bad that it prompted me to take the sandwich to the counter and show them how fatty it was. I understand brisket has some fat in it usually, but theirs was more fat than meat. If you are used to Missouri or Texas brisket, this will probably not be what you might expect. They made another sandwich for me but when I took the top part of the bun off, it was a big piece of fat again. The kitchen staff didn't learn from the first attempt. Additionally, the ice machine was jammed full of ice in the ice shoot so I had to get a straw underneath it to unjam it. The air vents on the ceiling appeared to possibly have mold or dirt on them which we all get to breathe. The napkins are at the soda machine area, not at the tables. The BBQ sauces are at the order station, not at the tables or eating areas. There's no table service here, so know before going in that it's self service. The floor felt sticky as you walk on it. The girl taking the orders was very polite and friendly , so I appreciated her professionalism. But otherwise, overall, today did not meet my expectations, unfortunately. The first thing you see before entering The restaurant is a bucket filled with used cigarette butts. The decorations and the ceiling near the bathroom had cobwebs strung between them. This makes me question the cleanliness of other things. The trend here based on multiple visits is less than amazing. This next part of the review is based on take out orders from previous visits: Three times in about a month or so. The first time was fabulous. Plenty of food. The brisket was perfect. The beans are a bit small though. Second time... The brisket was not wonderful. While I understand there's always some fat with brisket, this portion was smaller than the time before but also was way too fatty and not much meat. This was very disappointing. The third time was an Uber eats order, placed four days ago. I'm still waiting for that delivery to show up. (The Uber eats person didn't even try to deliver it . She dropped it off somewhere else and marked it delivered to me (5 miles away). The only way I know where it was really dropped off was because it showed it on my Uber eats receipt. Then the Uber eats person thanked me for my tip on the app, after not even trying to deliver it. Not Georgia Bob's fault,. But it's important to let others know about this Uber eats service failure with an order here. I got my money back from Uber eats, including the tip, but two hours later I had to make food at home...

This is my third time going here. The first time I ordered the grilled chicken breast sandwich, i dont like bbq that much but we had a meeting and I had to eat. The first time the sandwhich was awesome.
I came back for another meeting and ordered the same thing and it was just as spectacular as the first...
We had another meeting and I ordered the same thing again and It was terrible. The chicken breast was so dry that no condiment could help it. I told the lady at the register that my sandwhich was dry and she did ask did I want them to remake it and I asked would it be the same and she said yes so in my mind I was thinking why would I want the same dry sandwhich again. I told her that the times before the meat wasnt dry so why is it different now. She just gave me that "i dont know" look. So i declined because I didnt want to wait any longer for any more food, well I went back to my chair to try to eat it and couldnt. The lady asked would I like some wings and I declined and then she gave me the idea about a fried porkchop sandwich. She told me how juicy and good it would be. So i agreed and went back to my chair. 20 minutes later and zero fries there was no food for me...I got up, went to the register and was going to attempt to ask where my sandwhich was. The lady looked at me and then looked at the register as if I were a ghost. I saw she was busy and I waited until the customers had died down. I went back to the counter and asked the lady "where was the sandwhich I would be getting?" she said to me "oh you havent gotten it yet??" In my mind im thinking, well you havent given it to me yet...She went to the window to look for it and it wasnt there, she asked the lady at the window where was it, she didnt know, then someone told her it was a sandwhich just sitting on the counter that someone just placed there. Turns out it was my sandwhich, she just brought me the sandwhich, it was cold, and drier than the chicken breast. Maybe I just need to order bbq next time. Maybe they should take anything thats NOT bbq off the menu since someone cant cook things the way it should be...Nonetheless I wont be going back, I know I am just one person but I am a paying customer like everyone else and I dont understand how you just sit someones food down and tell them its ready, let it get cold, I have to ask for it, and then hand it to me with no...
Read moreThis was my first visit to Georgia Bob's. As I am on the keto diet, I knew my choices would be limited at a barbecue place, where there is sugar in almost everything. My plan was to get a couple pounds of meat and a Diet Coke. I carefully questioned the lovely cashier girl about whether the meats contained sugar. I was assured that the brisket and the pork were the only 2 which contained sugar, which was already mixed in and could not be ordered sugar-free. I proceeded to order a pound of turkey and a pound of chicken. My order was brought out and I dug in, only to discover the sweet taste of the chicken. After finishing the turkey, which was excellent, I proceeded to the register to request a refund on the sugar-laden chicken. The lovely cashier girl retrieved the manager, who I will call "Dan" in order to protect his anonymity, came from the back and asked what the problem was. I proceeded to tell Dan there was sugar in the chicken and I was told there would be no sugar in the chicken. Dan tells me the mild sauce they mix in has no sugar. He knew this because he just made up a batch the other day and he only put in blah, blah, blah, and ketchup. I inform Dan that ketchup is loaded with sugar and he replied "You meant absolutely no sugar?" Yes Dan, that's right. FYI to all living humans: You can't tell a customer there is no sugar on the chicken if you add an item to the chicken which contains sugar. There is a large segment of the population who has discovered the harmful effects of sugar. The United States is the fattest country on Earth because sugar is added to almost everything, even when it doesn't make sense. Georgia Bob's, will you stop sugar-poisoning...
