MUST READ Writing my Employee Review here since it magically keeps disappearing from Employee Review websites. There is no corporate phone number, making it incredibly difficult to reach anyone higher up to discuss any issues within a particular branch. Let’s begin with management. I was hired here for no more than 4 weeks. That’s right, 4 weeks. And within those four weeks, I had never seen such a mismanaged, dirty, and chaotic workplace in my years of customer service. I’m a full time college student, and I needed a second job as a means to pay bills and cover tuition costs. This is the only place that reached back to me despite applying to hundreds of places during a fictional “worker shortage”. Nonetheless, I felt this review was important to bring awareness to whoever is higher up in the Slim Chickens chain, and as well as a precautionary tale to customers. During my short stint here, I had seen disgusting mishandling of food and safety code, managers berating customers, and an incredible level of unprofessionalism. I’ve seen food fall on the floor and put back into food containers or even right unto a customers order and put right out. No use of gloves anywhere in the kitchen. Dirty floors, Management and cooks leaving the bathroom without washing their hands. Seeing all this forced me to leave despite being desperate for this low-pay job. After I had attempted to reach out to someone in authority, my hours were conveniently cut and on my fourth week, I was not on the schedule for an entire week. No phone call. Nothing. I later come to find I can no longer access my employee portal and it all becomes clear. This is to warn other potential people seeking employment. My immediate red flag should have been the hiring manager (patty) just not showing up THREE TIMES when she scheduled people for an interview. The first time, a bunch of new hires showed up and she didn’t show. We called. No answer. Finally, management called and she told us to come back the next day. Red flag. Red flag, red flag. By the grace of God, I had another job lined up when I wasn’t scheduled for a week without notice. I’m trying to file a report to Food & Safety for handling of food and unsanitary kitchen practices (with pictures documented) and also reporting for unjust firing....
Read moreI have always loved this place. I’ve always eaten here quite often, unfortunately not anymore. I love the Slims Salad. Usually they have lettuce packed into the container. Not this time. I opened up my salad and it was barely half full. I hate to say this but I feel this is in retaliation for the last time I was there. I always place my order online with curbside delivery. I got there alerted them to what space I was parked and waited. This was after I had arrived 10 minutes after the time it was supposed to be done. I waited 10 minutes and alerted them again. I ended up alerting them 5 times and waited over 30 minutes. Finally gave them a call. To which the reply was oh yeah you’re out there I forgot I’ll be right out. Ten minutes later they brought my food out. Of course it was cold. So I called again and told them I would like new fries since mine were cold. The nasty attitude shown to me after this was disgusting. Especially since it was all their fault. So yeah you bet I think they’re taking it out on me with my order today. It almost looks like they took over half my salad out and put back the rest. There’s literally no lettuce. And zero chance all the chicken that’s supposed to be in there is there. Read moreI went through the drive-thru for my order. Once I made it home, my chicken sandwich combo was not made correctly ( for the 2nd time). Previously, I spoke with the manager of the NW Expressway in Oklahoma City location to inform him about the mess up with my entire order on 09/01/23 and offered to bring the food back, but he said “no worries, I will put you in the book for a remake of your order”. I went back today to have my order remade, and sent my daughter in to get the order. Not only did they not remake my Buffalo Chicken Combo and extra Buffalo Chicken Sandwich ( Combo Only w/o drink) they half cooked the chicken. I went back through the drive- thru, but was so outdone I just said forget it and came here to Google review, and it was the same manager today from the previous evening. This place used to be a favorite, but most recent experience definitely is a thumbs down to eat for me.. wish I could give less...
