My husband and I drove to OKC from Houston, TX for a first time visit to OKC. This hotel was fantastic and extra, extra clean! Never having been to OKC, we found it very easy to find this hotel using Google map. We stayed 3 nights. The check in process was flawless. The 3 hotel employees that checked us in were very professional but not "stiff". They seemed to genuienly care about us. The checkin process was less than 3 minutes. We also had the choice to checkin online before arrival but didn't. This hotel is located in an area called Warr Acres. We weren't too sure about choosing this area but it was a great choice. The hotel is 2 miles from the major freeways. The lobby of the hotel is extremely clean and tastefully decorated. It lookks "swanky".
The room was very clean. There was a fridge, microwave, iron, coffee maker and extra plugins for electronics. The bed was soft. The water and towels were soft. Plenty of towels in the room. Great Pillows. The room was small with a good size closet but just enough room for 2. The AC worked just right. The soap was great. The carpet was clean. The entry key and safety latch were sufficient. I couldn't hear the noise of the other guests in any of the other rooms. I couldn't hear the outside noise, it was quite. I liked the black-out curtains. They were easy to open and close. The TV had lots of channels to choose from. All the lights worked. There was lots of light in the bathroom The only thing missing was a makeup mirror. The toilet tissue was soft. I also did not like having to step over the tub for the shower but that's not a big deal. The shower curtain had no stains.
. To our surprise, there was a Golden Corral right in the parking lot. We walked there. We don't usually eat buffets but this one seemed new. It was clean and freindly. The food presentation was good and only $13 (for seniors). There is also a Taco Bell in the parking lot. The hotel has a little store area but no alcohol. I didn't notice if the hotel had a shuttle. However, I did check the Uber and Lfyt prices. The price was about $14 to get downtown to the Bricktown area. We chose to drive. We went to Cheaspeake Arena to a Thunder game and the drive from the hotel was easy and took only 12 minutes. Parking was simple and only $10. Parking at the hotel was free and there was plenty parking. The hotel must be smoke free because I did not smell smoke while there. I also never saw the...
I recently booked a room here using Expedia. The room detail stated that all rooms had sofa beds. When i chose my room, the detailed description stated sofa bed. I arrived at the hotel room to find out it did not have a sofa bed. The hotel said that i had not book a room with a sofa bed. I showed them the Expedia app info. They said there was nothing they could do about it and that i should contact Expedia. Expedia made multiple excuses and never explained the misinformation on the hotel description. They contacted the hotel, but could not work out a room change. Expedia then offered me a $25 coupon. I would have never rented this room if it did not have a sofa bed. I would have canceled the reservation, but it was non-refundable. I was offered a $25 coupon and my daughter had to sleep on the floor. This is absolutely intolerable. The front desk first told me that i was wrong and that i had not booked a room with a sofa bed. They then asked to see my phone and showed me what they thought was my booking, which i then showed them the exact description which blatantly stated that it had a sofa bed....and that every room had a sofa bed. I understand that they probably had no control over what Expedia prints on their advertisements, but they responded to me like i made a mistake, then simply shrugged it off and said that there was nothing they could do and that i would have to contact Expedia. Horrible, horrible customer service from the front desk. They acted completely lazy and disinterested. She never even looked on the computer to see if there was a room with a sofa bed that we could upgrade to. I would have at least been okay with the hotel if they had acted in any way like they wanted to make us happy or at...
Read moreMy brother in law was graduating in Lawton and we wanted to take the kids to incredible pizza which was in OKC. So we wanted somewhere convenient. The first hotel I booked was awful the TVs did not work nor did their pool and I could only imagine what the breakfast was like which was all amenities I look for when booking. I had changed my reservations about 15 minutes before arriving. When I got there they already had my key and paperwork waiting. Check in was a breeze. Which was so appreciated I had drove 6 plus hours I was tired and overwhelmed. The front desk clerks helped and answered every question I had. They were really accommodating. The bed was a little harder than I would have liked but still comfortable, the decor was amazing the pillows was soft. The air worked great because the kids had me freezing all night(lol). The tv and channels was great. The tub was oversized and the shower head had great pressure I relaxed and had a great bath/shower. Breakfast the next morning was great I would have liked a few more fresher options for the omelet but other than that it was great. Food was kept warm and stocked. The attendant was restocking without us even noticing. The dinning room was comfy had a at home feel. Check out was s breeze. Only issue was my daughter used the phone to make calls home and she had a cell phone. Even with the billing it was explained fully. The bill was self explanatory. Overall I enjoyed my Stay and I told the staff as well that they made this one of the best stays ever. Not to mention Incredible Pizza along with quite a few other restaurants was right...
