Got a takeout pizza from here. The workers inside (if you can call them that) were arrogant and acted like my presence was a burden. I walked up to the only register in sight and stood there waiting to have someone grab my pizza and take my payment. There was an employee at the register leaning the other way talking gossip with the girls at the bar, another leaning on the bar chatting up another group of people in the corner and a third that was out on the floor talking to people. Nobody except the group of people the employees were talking to could get any service either. I got glances from all of them repeatedly for well over 5 minutes before the one at the register rolled their eyes and asked me “do you need something?” with an attitude like I was in the wrong for wanting my food that I ordered 30 minutes ago and was told it would be ready in 20. I told her I was there for the pie and she got it from the back and handed it over. I paid and left. Opened the pizza at my house and it wasn’t cooked the whole way through and all the toppings I ordered were in a pile on one side of the pizza in a mound so high you could see the cheese melted away around it. $30 for that. To sum it up, if you want to drink- go to cornerstone, Grumpy’s or Wicked Warrens before 8. Read moreI placed a large order of food for my families dinner through the app and was told my wait time would be 60-85 minutes for delivery. Immediately upon placing my order I called to ask if I could change my order to pick up in hopes it would be ready sooner. I was assured over the phone that the wait time would be 45 minutes for delivery and the app only had an extended wait time due to the quarantine restrictions. One hour later I was called to clarify whether or not I wanted my subs toasted. I figured since we live close that they were running a little behind and we would be getting our food shortly. One hour later my food had still not arrived. I tried to call multiple times to get an updated ETA and eventually to cancel my order. Two hours and 10 minutes later the delivery guy finally showed up. I apologized because I knew it was probably not his fault for the delay and said I wouldn't like any of the food and I would be calling for a refund. It still have not been able to get through via phone . I will be calling my credit card company to challenge the payment. I work in healthcare and my brother has worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years, I know things happen but this was poor service with no communication. Our family will never be ordering...
Read moreReally gone downhill. Used to love their subs but recently got two full ones, And they were dry, No dressing no mayo or anything. The salami or whatever meat it is was tough and dry as if it had been sitting out all day (Or maybe it was microwaved. You can see the discoloration around the edge of the meat where it's hard). The bread seemed different too. Usually the bread is flaky on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The bread on it tonight was just doughy, smushed, and tough. Was supposed to be toasted and it was barely lukewarm. In fact it seems like they just nuked it in a microwave for a moment.. Also there's supposed to be pepperoni on it. One of the two subs had it, this one didn't. Sadly won't be ordering food At this smoke shack anymore 🚬🚬
Side note. Every time I've ordered extra of something or a side of something they always forget to add it (Not almost always. EVERY SINGLE TIME In the last year and a half I have to walk back in there and ask for the s* that I paid for after checking it in my car) even though they never forget to add it to my receipt. I put on a smile and act like it's nothing but I only have so much patience.. Stop giving people ice cold...
