Pizza Roll — Restaurant in Warren

First things first, I had a delicious pepperoni pizza roll yesterday from Pizza Roll. Their Italian pizza roll is also really good. I was so impressed that I convinced my wife to come to get pizza rolls with me today. This rest of this review and the rating is based purely on service. My wife and I showed up to the pizza roll at 10:45am today. When we went in, the doors were locked, even though the opening time posted on the door and google is 10am. We noticed that a woman in the car next to us was also waiting for the place to open. So, we decided to wait until a 11am. Around 10:56 the woman in the car next to us gets out of her car and unlocks the door to the restaurant, goes in really quickly and locks the door behind her. It turns out she runs the place and has been watching us for the last 10 minutes confusingly trying to figure out when this place opens. At 11am another couple waiting with us knocked on the door to ask when they open. The women came out after a few minutes and yelled at them that she couldn’t let them in because her oven “takes 15 minutes to warm up”, her tone was incredibly rude, and we could hear her yelling at them from inside our own car. If you advertise that your store opens at 10am, YOU NEED TO BE READY TO SERVE FOOD AT 10AM!! If you don’t want to come in that early, open your restaurant at 11:30am. Summary: FANTASTIC!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

First time customer. Right off the bat, the owner and one man show runner, Mac, took our order with speed and was very friendly and personable. Ran over the whole menu, was very kind and patient with letting me take a moment to decide what to order. He even offered to deliver the food himself if I was on lunch break he said. He showed so much effort into his business and how much he cares about his customers! He gave me an estimated wait time of 30 minutes for a total of 3 Types of pizza rolls and bread he would be making himself from scratch. Right at the 30 minute wait time that he calculated perfectly, as we were about to head in to grab the food, he came out personally and hand delivered us our food! Even going so far as to surprise us personally with an upgraded cheese bread from small to medium for no charge! On top of the excellent customer service, the food is the bomb! 3 stars is a gift. Only because the food wasn't greeted horrible. To start, we were barely greeted upon our arrival. We even said it was our first time. The staff is damn near mute. Not trained well on register or on their own menu. 1st we were given someone else's food. Then, after leaving with someone else's food and coming back to tell them, mind you we opened it to discover it wasn't ours, they kept it (didn't re make it) for the right person. Yuck! Then they gave us our order, saying "sorry, he is new". Their menu would lead you to think these "pizza rolls" are the size of a normal sub sandwich. 6inch or 12 inch options given. $7 for a 12 inch that was barely 12 inches long and the size of a half dollar coin in diameter. We didn't even get the sauce that was supposed to come with it. I dought we will ever return nor will we recommend this place to friends and family. Way way way too many pizza places around here to short change your customers. Save your money...
