After visiting Stone House in Romeo MI was really excited to try this Madison Heights location since everything at the Romeo site was fantastic. Unfortunately we experienced the exact opposite. It’s clear the owners have forgotten this location as everything we were served was lacking. Tabbouleh was stale and only made with oil, not lemon. Fattoush salad was wilted, onions were transparent from age, tomatoes mushy. Babagaoush tasted like they froze and thawed it a few times before serving. The bread was freshly made but burned Chicken crème chop (a $22 plate) seemed like was thrown in the deep fried while still frozen as it crumbled. Chicken Shawarma wrap was dry and also not fresh. So it wasn’t one issue or mistake, just a cascade of apathy towards service. I let the server know the salad was very poor however they didn’t address it. To give you a sense of how much the owner cares about this location, here is the bathroom door. I hope this raises enough concern to address some...
Read moreCame in yesterday for Lunch. From the moment we walked in, the service at this Mediterranean gem was top-notch. The service from Mimi and Stephanie was incredibly warm, attentive, and felt like they were genuinely passionate about making our dining experience memorable. Every recommendation they gave was spot on. Serving us with incredibly big smiles and genuine regard for us. Felt like we were part of the family. We been here a few times already and every experience exceeds the previous time. If we lived any closer we’d be here everyday.
Now, the food… wow!! Every dish was bursting with flavor and clearly made with the freshest ingredients. The hummus was creamy and rich, the grilled meats were perfectly seasoned and tender. You can truly taste the care and authenticity in every bite.
We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for incredible Mediterranean cuisine paired with outstanding service, look no further. This place is...

Everything was hot and fresh, cooked perfectly (super tender and not remotely dry), and well seasoned (worth noting is the less common inclusion of nutmeg in their meat shawarma). Their salad has a milder dressing but includes additional unique veggies than most places. Excellent hummus and garlic sauce/spread. FRESH BREAD! For food quality, they are neck-and-neck with my favorite place — I'll need to come back and try a few more dishes to know for sure.
However... They're a bit pricey. I always get the house combo/special when trying a new Mediterranean restaurant so I can sample a lot of dishes. Compared to my usual place I paid significantly more here and got less food in both quantity and variety.
I'll likely visit again, despite the price. Their location is good for me, I want to try a few more dishes, their to-go packaging is top-notch (no chance of leaks), and, I cannot stress this enough,...
