My wife and I whom we both are in our 50s she had weight loss surgery and explained this to the waiter/owner only two people in the building!?? We told hime we were going to split a dish because she can only eat a few bites of anything...no problem there...till the end when he says out of the blue...next time we will charge you more because we had to do more work to split the food up...more dishes...etc!!!! I couldn't understand what he was saying then my wife explained it to me and I was pretty darn upset! Being a MARINE vet....I kept my cool and said to her...don't worry....a review is more POWERFULL then getting angry in here! We left zero tip....she wrote on the bill ...don't WORRY WE WILL NEVER BE BACK ANNND I HOPE THIS HALTS A LOT OF THE BUSINESS THAT DONT ALREADY SEEM TO...
Read moreWent there for an early dinner with my small family. We were the only ones there and the owner waited on us and prepared our meal, even though there were many take-out orders picked up while we were there. For dessert, we had a fresh-made strawberry smoothie, and rice pudding to-go, which were both delicious. The owner chatted with us for a while after we ate and he even gave us a free little bit of his bread dessert that was a recipe passed down through his family. We had a great overall experience. The owner was very respectful and he seemed to be working hard to make his business growth in the area and help out the...
Read moreWe stopped for lunch while waiting at the hospital for someone. The owner was extremely attentive and let us try a couple of his items that we didn't order. We felt like we were visiting a friend's home. I can't say enough good about the service here. We ordered a few different things to try and all of it was freshly made and served hot. The soups and salad were delicious. We also had fried kibbee which was light and perfectly cooked. Sharma, and kebabs with rice and baba ghanuj were very good too. The desserts are made on site and the baklava and little cake were also very good. I'm not sure why this place wasn't packed for lunch but you're missing out on some authentic food here. The prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend and would drive down just to...
