Not sure if my review was taken down or never posted for some reason, but I just noticed so I'm going to try again, just in hopes that management/staff does better. A friend and I dined here on a tuesday night, we come to bdubs often and get the same things every time, we know what we order like clock work. It was just after 9pm so we ALWAYS order the chips and queso from the late night menu, which also happens to have their day time happy hour menu as well. When ordering, we had that menu in our hands asking about the late night specials and if they included any drinks. The server told us the margaritas were included so we ordered those, immediately followed by, ordering and pointing to said chips and queso on the late night menu. Server said okay and repeated back to me "okay chips and queso" and walked away to put in our drinks and app. He came back shortly to inform us he was wrong and the margaritas weren't included in the late night specials, which is what we thought, we said it was fine and would get them anyway! From there he took the rest of our order (the 6 or 19.99 deal that we shared, which also included 2 soft drinks). When he left to put our order in we didnt see him or anyone again until our dinner order came out. And he asked if we needed anything so we informed him we never got our soft drinks, and also never got the queso! And when I tell you I barely even finished my sentence he immediately just goes "you never ordered that!" With a blank stare. I stated again, "um.. you know the chips and queso that we ordered with the margaritas?" And again he goes "yeah you never ordered that." đ”âđ« at this point my friend and I are just baffled at the way hes responding because on one hand even IF he was absolutely correct, or even strongly believed we did not order that, that is NOT how you speak to a customer?? I've been a waitress for 7 years and I would NEVER say that to a customer even if I was certain they did not order somwthing they think they did. And again, I am certain we did order it, we get it every single time, we asked questions about the specific menu its on, we pointed to it, he repeated it back to us. (We were even given appetizer plates). There was no "I'm sorry I must have misunderstood you", no "wait you never got your queso! I'm sorry there must have been a mistake in the kitchen" or even "im sorry I did not catch you ordering that, do you still want me to get that for you real quick?". Not to mention we felt very rushed the entire visit and was immediately told "the kitchen is trying to close" when we got there at about 9:15pm. To top it off, when he did come check on us later he says "is everything still okay over here, besides that queso that was never ordered?" đ€Ż like seriously? Im just saying this server is either not fit for the industry or has been in it too long and needs a break from it. I have never been one to pull the "the customer is always right card" bc you have every right to believe what you want, but in this industry you have to be way more polite and understanding. There is always a way to make things right for everyone. Mistakes happen. Dining out is supposed to be a treat...
Read moreMy friends and I come to this location often. We usually don't find anything wrong with it. The food is great (with the exception of the fries), and the service is usually pretty alright. Well tonight, we had the absolute pleasure (HIGH sarcasm) to have Willie as our server. All 16 of us were seated at around 7:10 PM. It was a Hawks game night, but it was not that busy. Easily less than half of the restaurant was filled. After about 4-5 minutes, Willie greeted us to inform us that he'd be right back. 20 minutes later (it is now appox. 7:35), he came to take our DRINK orders. We told him we were ready to order now, so he made his way around our table to get our orders. After finally getting our orders, he left to get our drinks. We got our drinks (mind you, 75% of the table JUST GOT WATER) at 7:51 PM. A full 41 minutes after being seated. During these 41 minutes, he came to our table ONCE: to inform us that our food would be here shortly (which was an absolute joke, because in actuality, our food wouldn't be arriving for another 30 minutes). We got our food at around 8:20. We ate, whatever. Then I asked for our checks (because he seemed to be avoiding our table. And also, note the plural, checkS). He came back with ONE check. Really? You honestly thought that 16 college students were going to pay TOGETHER??? When I politely asked for separate checks, he scoffed, rolled his eyes at me, and said, "You couldn't have told me that BEFORE?" Oh, I'm sorry you have to do your job, Willie. Must be tough. So rather than getting separate checks, he went around and labeled us to whichever part of the check we were, and told us to come up to the counter to pay. It is now 9:00 on the dot. I went up first and payed. I gave him my card (I had a total of $11.87). Now, what did Willie do (because you know he can't seem to do anything right)? He charged $118 to my card. And then DIDN'T tell me he charged $118 to my card. He just said, "I have to go get a manager. Stay here and don't leave." I comply, and then look over at the screen to find out what he did. He finally came back and said everything was sorted out. I left at 9:13 PM. So now I sit here, writing this Google review, staring at my bank account statement waiting for it to return to normal, hoping that no one else has to deal with this poor excuse...
Read moreSlow service, charged for items not received, and unhelpful management. Save yourself the time, money, and headache!
My three friends and I went to lunch and our server, Shawn, brought us the wrong drink and forgot what appetizer we ordered. He then brought out one (1) entree claiming we ordered it "way before" the other ones (news flash, we ordered all four at the same time!), then brought out the next two entrees in to-go boxes..? Then had to be reminded about the final entree ordered. It also came out in a to-go box. We all asked for a ranch with our meal but we only received 2 total.
When the check came, our total was $106. According to the check, we had ordered 8 ranches and we were charged for 3 of them, but again, we only asked for 4 and only ever got 2. After 15 minutes our server did not return to cash us out despite him looking over at us numerous times.
I asked the manager, Corey, to close our tab for us. I was charged $120 even though the check given to us by our server was $106. I asked our server about it and he said he forgot to add on a couple drinks. I told him that was fine but did explain I was charged for ranches we never got. He offered to grab them for us but we were done eating so I just wanted to be refunded.
Corey called me back to the register to refund and recharge my card. He insisted I was only charged for 2 ranches so that is all he removed. He re-ran my card and I asked for an itemized receipt and he told me after the check was closed he was unable to print it. Then, seconds later, printed an itemized receipt for me (?????).
I returned to my table and what do you know! The new receipt showed we were charged for THREE ranches and only TWO were taken off! Thank you much SO much Shawn and Corey for the second worst dine-in experience I have ever had, anywhere. We will not be...
