We were up-charged $3 per cookie (2) in an order of 6 full size cookies. When I showed up they were out of the full size cookies. I was offered so two smaller cookie bites per full size cookie since they were out of stock as the replacement.
The two smaller bite cookies did not equal the one larger cookie that we paid for in the 6 pack box. So 2 up charged full size cookies were being replaced by 4 total small bite size cookies that when grouped together would equal one regular size cookie.
The two managers said the two small cookies were equal to one large cookie which was visually not the case at all. Blamed extra processing fees associated with the smaller cookies as why they would not adjust the smaller bite size cookies.
Trying to compromise to account for all the money I paid for the cookies they could not fulfill, I said let’s do 3 small cookies (which would be 6 rather than the 4) which would be closer to what I should have received. They declined that suggestion.
Their counter offer from the managers was full refund, $1.44 refund and take what was in the box, or one extra small bite cookie. Since this was for a birthday in an hour I took the extra small bite.
I left with 4 regular size cookies and 5 small bite size cookies which was more like 1.25 cookies.
Bad customer service. I am sure they do not care based on their attitude.
Do not add a surcharge to cookies that you cannot deliver and then take the money...
Read moreI truely hate to write this but it just was not a good cookie, it was okay. I have heard great things about Crumble cookies so I was excited to go. I was sorely disappointed. First, the place was clean, staff super nice and ordering process efficient. I tried a couple different cookies mainly the chocolate chip and they had a chocolate brownie walnut. They were just okay. For the chocolate chip, their biggest issue is not enough chocolate chips. They are using a milk chocolate chip which is fine. However you need more milk chocolate to get that chocolate flavor and their wasn't a lot. If they went with a semi-sweet chocolate chip or dark chocolate chip they can get away with fewer chips, but milk chip, nope, you need more. So far, I am judging these strictly on taste. Now let's talk about that price. For that taste they are so not worth the cost. Over $4 per cookie. I need to be weak in the knees after taking a bite of the cookie to justify that price. I am more than okay paying that price but these cookies weren't great. They were just mediocre. If I want a quality cookie I am going down to 4th street cookies in reading terminal. I was so hoping for a great premium cookie experience close to home but this is not it. It was disappointing and I...
Read moreFresh made cookies are my favorite, but this experience was not. The place seemed like disorganized chaos. No one greeted anyone who came in. Customers did not know where to go or how to order. The touch screens at the cash register area were so disgustingly dirty to touch. The girl at the counter might have been nice, but when she did speak, she was so quiet that we couldn't hear her. Maybe she was quiet and the music was loud? I think she told us that they didn't have anymore of one of the flavors we ordered. The place looked dirty. The cookies were just okay. We tried 4 flavors (4 cookies @ $14). They texture was grainy on all except the pecan, and the pecan was the best. However, they all were way too sweet. My kids even all said they were way too sweet and only ate small pieces. We didn't finish them, but for how expensive they were, we didn't throw them out. Maybe the teenager will finish them tomorrow. The box the cookies come in keeps being mentioned. It is a sturdy box like you can get if you ask for a gift box from Ann Taylor, Nordstrom, Talbott, etc. I don't get the hype. I wanted to, but my family didn't enjoy the cookies or the experience. I guess that saves me a...
