edited since Frank the GM called me to make things right. He apologized and offered to have my son’s clothes dry cleaned. Frank told us to come in and he would treat us to dinner. I appreciate not only the apology but also looking into the matter. He told us they actually found a pinhole sized hole in the pipes under the sink. We knew something was wrong and we feel validated that someone listened to us and took action so that no one would slip and fall again. Thank you Frank for taking the time to make things right. We will be back.
Since this is day 5 since I wrote to corporate and received no response I am leaving this here. Apparently the floors seem to be a common problem and there is no concern for anyone’s safety at this location even though management responds and says safety is their utmost concern.
On Sunday 10/6 my family of 4 along with my mother and father in law wrapped up a fun day at the pumpkin patch by visiting the Red Robin in Warrington for lunch on Sunday October 6th. We always have a great experience but today was not the case. My 2 year old son is potty training so we frequently visit the restroom when we are out and about. We arrived sometime around noon and I immediately took my son to the ladies room. When I went into the handicap stall, there was so much water on the floor that I had to walk out and into the other stall. The floor was so saturated with water that I was afraid to put my child down. When I exited the restroom I politely asked to speak to the manager or supervisor because I felt it was an urgent matter of safety and wanted to make sure that someone attended to the wet floor immediately. Liam, the manager on duty, came over and I explained that there was a LOT of water on the floor of the bathroom and I was afraid someone was going to slip and get hurt. Liam thanked me and said he would take care of it. About a half hour later my wife went to take our son to the bathroom again and of course noticed the floor was still very wet. Because my son is so young and needed to go there was no other option but to use the bathroom. While trying to wash her hands, she went to put him down and within 3 seconds he slipped and fell into the massive puddle of water that was still there next to a wet floor sign. It was clear that the only action taken was to put a wet floor sign on the ground, while water was very visible all around. My wife came out of the bathroom, told Liam he fell, Liam said "ok" and walked away. While my wife was being inconvenienced in changing my son's wet pants, I asked Liam why he didn't take care of the water on the floor. He told me he sent someone in to check it but they told him "it wasn't bad". Were not talking about some tiny wet spots. I'm talking PUDDLES, everywhere! The most frustrating part is that I specifically asked for the manager from the beginning. He did not even look at the floor until after my son fell and he sent someone in with a single RAG. Does your location not have mops? A simple dry mop and 3 minutes of someone to care would have saved my child from falling and needing a change of clothes. I will also add that this restaurant was not even the slightest bit busy and there was plenty of staff to take care of it. Luckily my son was not hurt, but had an elderly person fallen they would have been severely injured. Liam did not even ask if our son was ok and he was surprisingly pretty flippant about the entire situation. Our server Scott was actually more professional, and more caring than Liam the manager. I am writing this email so that the general manager acknowledges the seriousness of this matter and provides better training to the managers and staff on the...
Read moreAlways a joyful experience coming here to dine! Just recently, I ordered their limited-time burger, fries, alongside a Metropolitan drink recommended with the highlighted items. I can’t emphasize enough at how much depth of flavor that burger had, regardless if I added an onion ring with RR’s signature chipotle mayo to it. It tasted so rich that I thought it could taste just as good if it has caviar on it. Alongside the limited-edition “Royal Burger”, I also had Truffle fries, which filled me up alongside the fries that already came with the burger. Even if I didn’t get the Bottomless Fries deal since I didn’t order a Tavern burger, the fries were seasoned well enough to go with the buffalo sauce I requested. In turn, I combined that with ranch to make buffalo ranch. Having that alongside the Chipotle Mayo, which came from the 6-count Onion Ring Tower that I also ordered, really complemented the lunch I’ve felt compelled enough to comment on it here. Last, but not least, I decided to order an Oreo Shake to go as I came with 2 other friends with whom I “spread the wealth” with in regards to the appetizers along with their tavern burgers. The shake itself met my expectations; I’m sure it would’ve been elevated by the sweet cherries that usually compliment the shake. Nevertheless, the shake itself tasted good. Overall, Red Robin is a great place to sit down and really savor the fantastic selection they have on their menu, from their notorious tavern burgers to appetizers that spark your hunger for more to indulgent deserts that round out your meal. It’s a shame that “hidden gem” spots like these, alongside places like Church’s, Checker’s, Sonic, &/or Denny’s, closed down several locations due to pandemic inflation, leaving just 1-2 locations left in and around South-Eastern PA. However, the taste, accommodating staff, unique decor, and innovative technologies have all kept these one-hit wonders afloat and/or thriving through and through, regardless of how hard the economy hits businesses such as these. So, as I do when I order out, please make sure to pay your gratitude forward, as I did when I tipped $8 for the excellent service; from the server, whose personality expressed hard work, resourcefulness, and a pleasant nature, to the chef who expertly crafted my food to serve as a display and as something more than what you see in restaurant/fast-food commercials. Because you’ll never know what you might find once you...
Read moreI wish there was a 0 star review but that’s not able to happen .Today I had the worst experience ever !!!!! I decided to go out to dinner with my boyfriend friend and my twin boys , we waited for 20 minutes and in waiting people with 3 people were seated as soon as they walked in so I had asked why can they be seated but we can’t we have the same amount of people we just needed 2 high chairs. They continued to say it was because we needed two high chairs. Which is fine but the lady had the worst attitude with us and the man at front door was just ignorant.Since we were so hungry we had just said seat us with out high chairs and we will figure it out we got seated and my kids being kids started trying to climb the table and we noticed the table right next to us had a high chair so I asked again for one and they said it was a walking hazard. I asked someone else and he got us a high chair …. After 30 times of asking I then asked if there is one high chair what is the difference If I have one directly next to the other one and he said it’s hard to put 2 high chairs at the same table ……….. why wouldn’t they say that before telling us there was a wait when there CLEARLY was not ? Instead of just saying we can’t have 2 high chairs at one table ? I would have left if I knew this we ended up getting our food and our wings were so dry it was hard to even bite into our waitress had asked if we needed boxes because she noticed we weren’t able to eat with the one kid climbing every where. I always thought that Red Robin was kid and family friendly but clearly not it’s hard enough having twins but not being able to give us two high chairs that would have fit perfectly next to each other is just ridiculous I will NOT be going back...
