Bakehouse 23 Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Warsaw

My mom and I stopped by Bakehouse 23 for the first time, and it was an ok experience overall. We tried four cupcakes (Peanut Butter, White Raspberry, Million Dollar and Oreo). The Peanut Butter cupcake had the best flavor, but unfortunately, all of them were a bit on the dry side.

The Strawberry Shortcake frappe was absolutely delicious—probably one of the best frappes I've ever had. On the other hand, the Raspberry Lime Lotus Energy drink started off very fizzy and lacking flavor but improved a lot after sitting for about an hour. By then, it tasted like a normal lotus drink.

We really liked the light and neutral vibe of the interior, but the layout was a bit confusing. The bakery area is in the middle, and the checkout is located in the back with the coffee, which made it unclear where to go at first.

Overall, it was a mixed experience. We might be willing to try them again in the future once they’re more established, but for now, it didn’t quite live up to...

The macrons were tough and dry. The workers were friendly. The atmosphere was good, but the space seemed a bit empty. We got 4 different macrons, and only 1 was almost good. The flavor on all 4 was good, but 3 of them were tough and took a considerable amount of bite force to bite into. They were all dry with 1 of them crumbling like a saltine cracker when I bit into it. I went to Bakehouse 23 because I wanted to get some last minute treats for my partner's birthday. I ended up getting some cupcakes which had a variety of flavors including differences in the cake, frosting, and toppings. I was so impressed that I went back the next day and tried their recommended cheesecake cookies. They were also amazing!
