Came in around 1:15 for a pizza and also ordered the "boneless chicken wings".

The "wings" were more like chicken nuggets with more bread than chicken.

The pizza was good, but, just as last time, the crust was rather burnt.

While the food was acceptable, the service was far from it. I was sitting on the bar side by myself, reading news and responding to emails on my phone, slowly enjoying my meal. The waitress seemed as though she wanted to rush me out the door. After she asked me, for the third time, if I wanted a box I responded "I am aware that you have them and will ask if I need one, no need to bother asking again."

I then asked if it was OK for me to continue with my meal and occupation of my single table in the otherwise empty room. To which she responded "Yeah, you can have a few more minutes" and then pointed out her manager at the cash register and said "if you have any problems you can talk to my manager."

The waitress then proceeded to walk directly over to the manager and began telling her that I was being difficult and whatever else to rebut any complaints I might make.

The thing is, up until that interaction and besides making my order, the only words I spoke to the waitress were "Please", "thank you" and "no thank you".

After the waitress went and made comments about me to the manager, I stopped a man walking by who appeared to be (and was) the owner. I recalled my experience to him and suggested the waitresses not ask the same question about carry out over and over when someone is obviously just trying to enjoy their meal and engaged in reading / writing. The owner made an excuse about people being in a rush at lunchtime to which I responded "it's almost 2 PM and not once have i indicated i was rushed."

Ultimately the owner was cordial and apologized. He asked what he could do to improve my experience and I said just train the waitress to not make a scene out of nothing and to read the room, give people some space and peace when they're seeking it.

I then paid my bill and and left a very small tip to prove tbe point that i was not satisfied with the waitresses service. There was another female who appeared to be a manager or owner at the bar, who, when she saw the tip I left, looked at me and said "classless".

LOL, she's lucky I have some class, otherwise she would have gotten some much worse than my response "You are a horrible...

Please read before making a decision. Atmosphere is simple but clean. Nice retro music when we were there. Very modern process with digital pay and pay online at the table.

My wife ordered the Midwest Club. Chicken with fresh basil, fresh tomatoes and a really good white sauce. Was exceptionally good. All I gradients very fresh.

I had the Beebop. This had bacon, pepperoni, and sausage. The saude was crushed to.atoes and extremely light and fresh tasting. Really good pizza, however, the sausage was ground. I mean very fine ground. Some people like this texture. I do not. It wasn't bad, just not my preference. Pizza is a layer of not just flavor but texture and this style of sausage is extremely soft and gets lost in the chew. Again, all my preference, and taste was on point.

Finally, the best part, the crust. They do it right. Like really right. Chewy, charred, flavorful, thin and crispy bottom with a nice outside ring of crust. Can't say enough about the crust. It...

Rocksteady has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff ready to assist.

The menu offers a good variety of pizza options, from classic favorites to unique combinations. I opted for a traditional pepperoni pizza, and the flavors were well-balanced. The crust had a nice chewiness to it, and the tomato sauce was tangy and flavorful. The toppings were fresh and generously portioned.

While the pizza is tasty, it doesn’t quite reach the level of greatness that would make this restaurant stand out from others in the area. It was a solid choice for a casual meal, but it didn't leave a lasting impression.

Overall, Rocksteady provides decent pizza options with friendly service. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. It's worth a visit if you're in the mood for a reliable and satisfying...

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This place is awesome. I had the Limon Picante pizza (chorizo and preserved lemons, so good) and my wife got the Rocksteady pizza, plus the garlic knots appetizer with the hot honey sauce. Somehow, the vibe is very low-key, even though all the tables were filled. Very family friendly, felt at ease with my son going back and forth between our table and the arcade room. A big plus for the family was the arcade in the back with the pinball machines, but I can’t lie, I enjoyed the TMNT pinball a little too much. Here’s to many nights at Rocksteady!
