Dave's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Warwick

So we were done performing we had and me and my friends go to Dave’s bar just to hang out and eat. They didn’t make my Food right but I did not decide to complain Because there were so much of us in the group, and there’s no point in arguing over that. So after we eat, we tipped the waiter and we go to play pool because they have little games that you can play for a dollar. We’re playing pool and by accident one of the balls goes off of the pool table because we’re not experienced at the game and my friend was sitting on the pool table after that Some older gentleman with no hair, told us not to let any balls you know go off of the table which we Already knew, and he did tell my friend to get off. We apologize for that. After that we’re just talking and we’re like getting more change and The machine took two dollars from the $10 bill we put into the change machine. After that we decided to play pool on two tables and we put in the dollars and then he comes up running and tells us to get out because the bar is closed and yelled at us after he grabbed the ball aggressively and put them back into wherever they needed to be in that pool table, he didn’t explain any reason why he said that the lights were on and the bar is closing yet when we searched up on the Internet, the bar was closing at 12 and it’s still not even 12 and I’m writing this review. On top of that, he says that because the lights were on The bar was But he turned on the light after saying the bar was closed, which made no sense. Then there were still customers sitting down and he grabbed the remote and started turning off all of the TVs instead of giving anyone a 10 minute or five minute warning that the bar was closing, which would’ve been highly appreciated.after that, we leave a couple still in the barn they haven’t gotten kicked out. The waiters and waitress were very kind but that guy was not. I thought that at least that guy was having a bad day and probably he’s the owner because he’s not scared to be rude to customers but as I’m looking at these reviews, some of these reviews are complaining about a similar man, so I just think he has a bad...

Went here for the first time today and had a terrible experience. I went in a tank top as I didn’t want to get a dress shirt i was wearing prior dirty and they had me put on a different shirt. That was understandable as I can see why they wouldn’t want that view in the bar. The seat I was put at was basically destroyed, with the back literally falling off half way through eating. The food was mediocre at best and the service from my original waitress was actually pretty good. Then the older guy came out… He noticed my group playing pool and basically yelled at us the entire time. It wasn’t very busy and a ball went off the table once and he flipped out yelling at us to keep it on the table. Okay, that’s fine, I can somewhat understand that. Then, an hour until close we decide to go for another round at both pool tables and after we insert our money, he comes out, shoving all the pool balls back into the holes and forces us to leave, not allowing us to even ask for the money we spent on the tables to play, and again, an hour before they were supposed to close. We were given no reason as to why we had to leave other than “lights are on, get out” which was again ridiculous as that isn’t any form of indicator that it’s closing time. DO not come here. I've lived in Warwick my entire life, come here regularly, and last night I was treated like a scumbag. Left the waitress a $10 tip, and she accused my friend and I of not tipping her. Sent another waitress out TO MY CAR a mere 5 seconds after we left to ask if there was a problem. We counted the money numerous times, because we know what it's like to live off of tips - and DID NOT SHORT HER. she claimed we gave her exact change, when if what she claimed was correct, we would have given her $10 LESS than the bill price. The waitresses made a huge scene and made US look like we were non tipping scumbags. I called the manager/owner, and he cared not one bit. He has always been VERY rude to customers. I've seen a full table walk out after he was extremely rude to them. All I wanted to do was inform him that some of his girls are probably scheming to get extra Holiday money, and he talked to me like I was a thief. Sorry, your waitresses and YOU are the thieves here. I work at the airport and for years have always sent people over out of suggestion. Now I will tell them anywhere BUT here. Such a shame. They have the best onion rings, and decent prices.
