I wait for about five minutes before I was approached, both of the servers look right at me and kept working in the expo window. One of them could have at least said one moment, but nothing. Lucinda finally came up to me and said how many, no greeting it all. I told her I would like to place a to go order, she said let me check this man out 1st. She gave me a menu, and I said I know what I want already. I asked for the egg white veggie omelet add bacon and sausage. She asked me how many pieces of each which I thought was odd, but hey maybe this IHOP is different. Once she checked me out she crumbled up my receipt and I said hey I needed that. She said oh you will get another one when it prints, I said I need the itemized receipt. Her response was Iām going to whoop you, and I said no youāre not going to do that. She said yes I am like a red headed step child, normally wouldnāt take offense but she was not friendly the whole time. She brought my food and it was wrong. All the meat was on the side, and I ask for it with the omelet like in it. Once she seen me looking confused, she said something wrong. I said yes I wanted the meat inside not on the side, her response was no you didnāt. I said Iām very specific about my food, and she said Iām very specific when I take orders. I said ok, she said we can fix it. I said no thatās ok. I will not return to this IHOP as long as she works here, she never repeated my order and you go back and forth with a customer. Hostess definitely did not want to be there. No smile at all not once. Been in the restaurant business many many years. I know that is the absolute least you can do with customers. Smile. Make them feel welcome. Sat near the kitchen. Not a problem. I saw the female cook have messy very long hair half up half down. No hairnet on anyone in kitchen. Ordered the Big Steak Omelet. Mostly tomatoes. Very rubbery in texture. I ordered my side of hash browns. Never got them. Ordered a biscuit instead of pancakes. Never got it. Instead I was brought white toast saturated in butter. Husband never got a refill. Server disappeared. Came over after food was mostly gone (the part of the Omelet I could eat) asked how it was. Told her I never got my hashbrowns and gave me toast instead of a biscuit. I knew it wouldn't be right when she didn't bother to write the order down. I have food allergies and I have to be careful. Thank God she at least got the no peppers right. I told her I just wanted the check and make sure my other food was taken off since I never received it. Didn't have time to wait for it. Very slow. Our drinks were always full, our food came out hot and exactly as ordered, and she checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. You could tell she truly cared about making our night enjoyable.
