I got Bite at 1 am by Bed Bugs and called down to front desk. Kayla came up I showed her the BedBUG that I had killed and the bites on my HANDS. She said that she could not move me they had no other rooms until the next day and that they would have 5 rooms available. So I was very scared to stay in the room so I laid down in the other bed with my husband. But we got a call about 10 minutes later from Kayla at front desk asking me to come downstairs to talk to her Manager ( SHASHA) but I had to go to front desk to talk to her. So I went down in my nite clothes and she then told me she does not have any more rooms and that she would not have any for weeks. And I told her that Kayla said that they did and that she had already look into the system. She said NO! So I said that she could find me another room or I will be sitting in her waiting room until she did. Where this Hotel is Located there is only maybe two Hotels in the Area. She then got very upset with me and told me to leave the Hotel and that I had 20 mins to get OUT. OR she would call the POLICE to Escort me out. I was so upset had no idea what my husband and I were going to do. I went back up to our room and told my Husband and he was Livid. He went down and was raising his Voice saying that they did not hear the last out of us.When we left the Hotel within the 20 minutes I called the 1-800 number for reservations and I ask the lady three times about this hotel and would they have any rooms available for the next day and she told me YES that there would be 5 rooms available. So we drove to the Hospital where we were working that week and tried to sleep in our car. Needless to say we did not get any sleep and had to work until the flowing eve 6 pm. Also I was Itching and BURNING so bad from the BED BUG BITES and so Sick to my stomach that I thought I would throw up all day. My company called the Hotel and (SHASHA ) told them there were no BED BUGS and that I threw the Nite BELL at her. Now remind you (SHASHA) was not even at the hotel I had spoke to her on the phone that was it. So I called Corporate and was told to talk to the General Manager his name is Austin. And because it was a BED BUG Issue they could not do anything about it. So I called Austin and he said he did look at the VIdeo's and no-one threw a BELL and we disguise what they would do for all my troubles and Anxiety. And it has been a couple months now and I have not herd anything from this HOTEL And I have called Austin a few times and he said he sent the Info to the OWNERS which is the PATELS. And they have not contacted me at all. Well I just want everybody to know this place is Horrible I have never in my life have been kick out of any Establishment. And to be lied to. And to be bitten by Creepy BED BUGS. I just hope people read the REVIEWS before going to this HOTEL. You never know what could happen to you at this place. My next step is calling the BBB on this hotel. And I. am still not...
Read moreI recently stayed here for a week and a half (November 2021) and it was horrible. The entire time we were here our toilet clogged and not because of what you're thinking! We probably called the front desk to get a plunger 10 times over the course of our stay! The front desk person told us one night that they had trouble with other toilets clogging due to people putting stuff down them (toys, pens, etc). Not to mention the shower doors that would not stay closed. After taking a shower the bathroom floors were soaking wet with puddles everywhere. Thank God we didn't fall! The congestion in the parking lot was horrible as well. Actually, the parking lot would have been ok if they didn't let the semi trucks park along both sides of the building making it a VERY tight squeeze for anyone else getting in and out of a spot. There was plenty of room for trucks to park at the south end of the building but evidently staff didn't seem to care that they parked on the east and west sides. I was very happy to see that the side doors could only be accessed with your room key but the rocks that were kept by the doors for a door stop defeated that whole purpose. As a female who has had to travel alone this is very unsettling to me. The side doors were constantly being propped open with rocks that stayed right to the side of the door while not in use. (I moved them numerous times only to have them back by the next time I used those doors.) I hope you've read this far because the final straw that made me want to leave this review was the BUG in my food from the complimentary breakfast here!! I told the staff what happened and showed them as well! The manager apologized to me and said "It's just a fruit fly." And he assumed it was from the fruit that sat right next to the hot serving dish! This BUG was alive and crawled out of my bacon!! The manager offered me something else to eat (I guess as an apology) but I didn't want anything else from their kitchen!
So please pay attention to your surroundings and to the side doors at this hotel! And eat at your own risk. Maybe bring a toilet plunger and extra...
Read moreVery Disappointing Stay - Except for Angie
Our check-in on June 18th was with Angie, and she was truly exceptional. Just as we arrived, the weather turned frighteningly severe, and the hotel briefly lost power. Angie went above and beyond to make us feel safe and welcome during a stressful moment. Her professionalism and calm demeanor were the highlight of our entire stay.
Unfortunately, everything after that was a major disappointment.
We stayed June 18–22 and, as loyal Hilton guests, we’re very familiar with the brand’s standards. Housekeeping never once came to our room during the entire four-night stay. I managed to get towels from a housekeeping staff member on day two, but they reeked of cigarette smoke. By Saturday night, our room still hadn’t been touched. When I asked the front desk for fresh towels for our family of three, the man rudely asked what I wanted him to do. He eventually handed me one towel and told me to put our old towels and trash in the hallway. When we checked out the next morning around 7:10 a.m., everything was still sitting there.
Breakfast was equally underwhelming: cold, day-old oatmeal and sausage gravy, with no eggs and no staff anywhere in sight. The pool was cloudy and clearly not filtering, and the “fitness center” was barely functional. The bike and treadmill didn’t work, and the elliptical froze repeatedly. We chose this hotel specifically because it advertised fitness facilities, as we were traveling with an 18U baseball team.
After getting no help from the front desk, I contacted Hilton Honors. They recommended speaking to a manager, but Saturday evening and Sunday morning, we couldn’t find a single employee anywhere.
Aside from Angie’s outstanding service at check-in, this hotel fell far below Hilton standards. We won’t...
