DO NOT STAY HERE. This is the most disgusting establishment I have ever seen. It is in a decent location for travelers, but for someone to be traveling that long and to attempt to stay here wanting some relaxation and a nice room, is an utter slap in the face. I had booked in advance and upon arriving realized the utterly disgusting environment of the rooms, did not stay and promptly requested a refund while exclaiming my dissatisfaction. Hotel is noted as a non-smoking hotel. Upon walking down the hall, there was a faint smell but nothing alarming. Upon entering the room, it was like a gust of smoke from someone smoking in there for years. Stagnant, smoke filled air paired with humidity - not a great combo. Then taking a look into the room, it was filled with various stains, un-swept floors (dust, hair, toenail clippings, something that looked like urine?), a chair that looks like it was dug out of a dumpster, and another chair with so many stains, burn marks, that did not look to be an inviting seat. The sheets smelled like mildew, smoke, and just overall stink, and did not look like they had even been washed. There were various black particles throughout the sheets that could have been evidence of bed bugs, but could also have been the feces of the roaches seen wandering the halls. We had also viewed another room to attempt to try and stay but that room was even worse than our original. Do not waste your time, and do not jeopardize your nice night of relaxing sleep to stay here. Manager refuses to give a refund even though I did not stay in this hotel for the night and had to find another to stay at in the meantime last minute and I had attempted to contact for the week following the cancelation with staff noting he was out of town when this took place and continued to never respond. He did not respond back to the original note the staff left the day I did not stay at this hotel, did not respond to the various emails I had sent, and did not respond to the various calls and messages left. He also admitted on the phone that he was ignoring Expedia's calls and could not discuss matters with me as it is "out of my hands". Overall, very disappointing experience and hope that this can help others to not make the same mistake.

I had to travel to Wilmington for the July bar exam in which there were over 1,100 of us, so finding lodging is competitive. One week before the exam I realized Holiday Inn at the Roberts Center messed up my reservation, so I had to scramble to find a place to stay. My choices were staying in a guest bedroom in some stranger's house on Vrbo (no thanks!) or Baymont in Jeffersonville. So I chose the latter. They all price gauge when it's bar exam time, but this place was straight trash and I had no choice but to pay them $361 for two nights. I walk in and it smells weird. I can't even put the smell into words, maybe must and sage? The employees are not the least bit friendly. They are more like robots who only know a few English words. It seemed like people were living there with their children, too. I get to my room and was appalled. The floors were filthy with debris all over. The television remote did not work and i had to old-school use the buttons on the set. There was a dirty, moist towel hanging on the bathroom door. The ceiling was peeling in the bathroom and there was some weird, unenclosed light. The sink took hours to drain just from brushing my teeth. I was extremely uncomfortable during my stay, so much so that I didn't even take my shoes off or use the shower. This is during the most stressful, mentally challenging time in my life where it is vital I get good, comfortable rest. I just cannot stand the fact that I paid Marriott prices for this trash! I was ripped off so bad and had no other choice but to let them do it.

Avoid at all costs. This place is a dump and is filthy. In the room, half of the lamps didn't work, the floors hadn't been cleaned, the surfaces and lamps had layers of dust, and worse, the toilet was blocked. Owners obviously knew the toilet was blocked as a plunger in a dirty Walmart plastic bag was placed beside the toilet bowl. The bathroom was covered in previous guests' hairs and damp patches on walls and ceilings. The vinyl covered couch was ripped, the hallways were very dirty, and hadn't been vacuumed in an age. Lots of broken items in public areas, piles of dirty towels dumped in corridors. Complained to the Indian guy at the front desk who said I couldn't change room as the hotel was full ( despite rooms available online), and there was no maintenance personnel available to fix our toilet. The next day, I took one look at the breakfast choices and left without eating anything. The same guy that checked us in was still on duty at check out and who we complained to in the evening. He was the only member of staff we encountered the entire stay. Asked for a refund and was refused. There are other hotels nearby, chose one of these, and avoid this dump at all costs.

BEWARE!! BUGS IN THE BED! and they wouldn't give a refund because we didn't have a picture of it?! My son had flushed it. I'm going to call the Health Dept and the Ohio Attorney General. You can't take pictures of the smell or how sticky the hand railing was. We entered the building from the back. There were 5 guys talking and drinking near the back door with 20 empty bottles already sitting around them on the sidewalk. The back foyer was filthy, & the smell met us at the door. The dirt was so thick on the vending machines; you couldn't see the color of the metal on the flat surfaces. It was late, 11:00ish. We had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor because there wasn't an elevator. I didn't want to touch the railing, but about half way up with my luggage; I just had to. The carpet on the stairs & the hallway was filthy dirty which I'm sure contributed to the bad smell. It was obvious it hadn't been vacuumed let alone shampooed for months or ever. We opened our door, and the light switch didn't work. We had to feel around to find another switch for light. The floor was linoleum! I kept my shoes on until I got in bed, & the room also smelled. The sink was cracked & it was also cracked in our son's room. The tub/shower was old with a cigarette burn on the ledge. The tub was discolored and half way up the wall. I don't know if it was from the lack of cleaning or bad water, but there was no way I was getting in it. After my dil found the bug, we scooped up the kids and our things and left. I felt bad my family was in such a horrible place. With their inability to clean anything, I'm SO thankful we didn't get in the pool! I don't know who would ever give this place a better rating unless it's fake. I wish I could give a zero rating. This place needs...
