Hopefully my review helps. Meant to be constructive. Been there 5-6 times recently. There is a consistency issue in the product handed over to the customer. Should be monitored more to make sure the portions are adequate and the same size each time. I order milkshakes and every time... they are different. I even order extra thick and one or two times they were (I didn't even know I was being charged extra for extra thick, but ok) thick, but 4 other times they were not. One was simply NOT Thick at all. A shake should be thick and a bit hard to get up the straw, and an extra thick (esp when paying extra) should def be thick. My wife's portion was a different size than mine on a couple of occasions. I did mention it the time before and those shakes came out great and extra thick. Last time, I got a weak shake. Not even normal let alone extra thick. Being ice cream shops across the street and down the road, I'm going to go there and buy their products now for awhile and see. But I went to SpiltMilk and the ext thick shake was about the same size or a bit more, very thick, cheaper even with the ext thick charge, with cream on top, a cherry and a spoon. Why can't I have a spoon with an thick shake without asking for one, or having to ask for a napkin that sometimes you get, and sometimes you don't. Plus I note these reviews on Google maps here are not responded too by the store or owners. So, I'll duplicate this review on the company main site where one can expect monitoring and responses. I know if my business had weak reviews, I'd respond to the person to try to resolve and get them back. Overall, nice place nice people, new each visit, and newly opened. Still think its good, just needs attention. But on the way home yesterday we were going to stop there, but drove the extra mile or two to go to SpiltMilk and got what I paid for. And...
Read moreHoly smokes, Bruster’s in Sewell is the bomb, a five-star ice cream heaven that hits like an Eagles touchdown! I’m Joe Piscopio, a fireman with a nose for good eats, and this place blew me away, all thanks to Kristen, the owner who’s running this joint like a champ.
Walk in, and it’s clean, with a dope South Jersey mural screaming Eagles pride. Smells like fresh waffle cones, making you feel like a kid again. I revel in this place’s amazingness, and it stings, because I’m stuck wrestling with my own mess while they’re building an ice cream empire.
I got a chocolate peanut butter cone, it’s so creamy, it’s like eating custard. Them peanut butter chunks? Straight fire, hitting my taste buds like a Metro Boomin’ beat. Grabbed a turtle sundae too, with fudge and pecans drippin’ like my iced-out rollie. They got 150 flavors, all made fresh, no fake stuff. It’s the best ice cream I’ve had, no cap.
Shoutout to Bri, the scooper keeping the line moving with a grin. They got a drive-thru and tables outside, perfect vibes. Heard on X some folks gripe when flavors run out, but that’s because Kristen’s too good. Five stars for the ice cream, the crew, and Kristen. Bruster’s is Sewell’s best, and even if I’m hating, I’m coming...
Read moreFirst time back since they reopened. The girl who waited on us was very sweet with a big smile/ very friendly but I asked for two dips of two different ice creams and it literally looked like a kids cup. They offered to make me a new one and I accepted which was good but in the past Brewster's always gave good portions so I'm hoping this is not the way they are going to continue business. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.. maybe it was just that one person dipping out our ice cream. 🤷♀️. $14 for 2 cups.. husband got one...
