My husband loves Coldstone so for his birthday I decided to get him an ice cream cake. A gentleman took my order over the phone so I was confident everything would be perfect. I set a pick up time of 11 in the morning. Upon arriving after 1 in the afternoon the woman behind the counter greeted me and said she would grab the cake. After a few minutes she came out and told me the cake was not finished and that she needed to finish icing the cake. I was upset at this point since I had ordered the cake two weeks prior to his birthday. After waiting about a half hour the woman brought out the cake. She opened it to ask me if the icing looked okay. This is when I found that the cake was not the right size nor shape. I was again upset because I did not want to have to pay more money for something that I did not originally order. The woman was nice enough to discount the cake and apologized and besides the cake being wrong in size and shape the outside looked right, so I took the cake and left. When it was time to eat the cake I came to find it was not anything I asked for on the inside! I was so upset! The next day I called the store and asked for a manager only to be told there was not one present. It was the middle of the day! The guy that answered the phone then asked if I wanted the managers number. I work in management so I declined finding that unprofessional, though it could be a work cell phone? I finally got a hold of the assistant manager, explained my situation and was told that she would get in touch with the franchise manager to see what they could do. My husbands birthday was the third of November and it is now December 30th. I suppose that there will be no resolution. I will never order a cake from this location again. Understaffed. Dirty tables. My child mentioned how dirty the store was... She's 5.
Ordered a signature flavor and it was made wrong. It was made wrong with an ingredient I absolutely hate but I didn't have it in my heart to complain given the circumstances. Perhaps if she had more help, she wouldn't have been so frazzled and probably would have been able to take her time, therefore chances are it probably would have been made right.
Or maybe they were just out of the ingredient and she took it upon herself to substitute it with something else assuming it was ok. I overheard her telling the next customer they were out of something. I read a review how they're always out of stuff...
Disappointing.
It's a bit of a drive for us, so probably won't be back...

My husband went back in the store to ask and they said "Oh, we don't have that." Okay... I had to call the store and ask for a refund for the out of stock item. Not great, but it happens. Then, we open our ice cream and see the waffle bowls we added were not included. I did not want to call back or deal with this anymore, as I was already frustrated enough.
