Came here around 5PM on the 4th of July. I was the only customer when I entered. One employee( we'll call him "A") was working on something behind the counter and stopped to help me. The other employee(we'll call him "B") was in back. "A" took my to-go order, and was very friendly throughout the entire process. I didn't order a drink, and he asked, "Are you sure? It's hot out there." He gave me a small cup for water while I waited for my food to be made. We made small talk for a minute. "A" had great customer service skills, and given that it was the 4th of July, when a lot of people have the day off or are doing something fun, he was substantially friendlier than I would have expected a fast food worker to be. He was substantially friendlier than ANY fast food worker I can remember, and truly seemed to be having a good time. Employee "B" came out from the back, and the two of them worked on preparing my food, and helping the other customers that had come in. "B" was also in high spirits and friendly. Both employees had a strong work ethic, worked well together, and seemed to be having fun in the process. "B" offered me a choice of how I wanted my food bagged, checking to see if I needed things separated or together for different people. Like "A", he had awesome customer service skills and was far friendlier that you would expect given that he was working at a fast food restaurant on a holiday. The experience with these two employees was far above the typical fast employee/customer interaction.
The food was standard Five Guys. Not better, not worse. My five star rating is based on the outstanding customer service I received, and the outstanding work ethic and attitude of the employees, given that it was a holiday. I believe the name on the receipt was "Michael M" but I lost it, so I'm not sure. I'm not sure which of the two "Michael" was, but I can't speak highly enough of them. I'm still a little in shock over the experience, because it was so different from what I've come to expect from fast food employees. It was my first time at this particular location, but I will...
Read moreI went to this Five Guys during lunch. I placed my order online. I get there and I had to wait for fries which I normally expect. I work in between 2 different locations but opted to drive to this one which from my job is a hassle to get to anyway. I get my food items drive back to work only to realize the team forgot my patty on my sandwich and gave me a medium fry instead of 2 small fries that I paid for. I tried calling the location and no one answered the phone so at this point I was aggravated as is. I threw the sandwich back in the bag and I thought about letting it go but I paid $28.46 for my order with a coworker. I then drive back another 2 miles to let the staff know... I showed the staff member my sandwich and I didn't get a " I am sorry about that" or any type of acknowledgement that they basically messed up my order and it was their fault!! I then waited another 15 minutes for my order to be remade. At this point I am cutting into work time. me thinking I would get compensated somehow maybe a refund or a free drink or something... I got nothing not even an apology. So, I wasted gas driving to this location twice and I also wasted my time. I will just opt to go to the Sawmill location...
Read moreI used to love to eat at this location when I worked in the area; I was excited when I found that I’d be working in the area again, I really don’t know what happened…. They haven’t lost my business yet but, I’m very disappointed…The last time I ate here I had placed an online order an hour and a half prior to when I was to arrive.. I still had to wait 20 min, and they weren’t that busy... Apparently they have to wait to make the fries and my shake until I had arrived (I arrived 3 min prior to when my order was to be ready), my burger was very cold and soggy, soggy to the point where it made a hole in the bottom of my bag… this was just not the place that I had remembered… I used to walk in and was immediately welcomed, this time I stood there literally 5 min prior to being acknowledged, with a bad attitude… sadly I won’t make it a point to...
