This morning, I received an extra wake up call, free of charge with my order. Upon placing my mobile order, I started my journey to Fort Dunkin. I drive up to the speaker and was greeted with, at 6:30 am, on a Friday, “What do you want?”. As I proceed to tell them I placed a mobile order for…I was promptly cut off with a “go to the window”. Half awake yet half asleep, I was confused, startled, and somewhat embarrassed. How do they know who I am? Is my social anxiety or cpstd showing? I find a way to say “oh..ok”, before pulling through the twisty turns/maze of a drive through. I get to the window and am handed my order. I still have no idea how they know who I am. I have no idea what they’ve said as they hand me my order. For all I know, they could have told me to kick rocks and eff off. But in the daze of events, all I can mutter out at this time of the morning is, “thank you, you too”. The coffee. Horrible. Tastes like dirt and I ended up regurgitating it later during an important meeting. Dare I complain? No. After the militant style greeting, I will choke it down, with a smile, and will drive 5 miles out of the way the next time I decide to spend my hard earned money and treat myself to a coffee on a random Friday. I’m not sure if I personally did something to the staff this morning, or if they’re simply just not morning people and I interrupted their morning by placing an order. How rude of me. I’m also not sure if I should thank them for the extra jolt of wtf, free of charge, or if I should be upset by the lackluster, abrupt customer service which was short (very short) on exchange of actual words and normal communication that you would expect between humans when making such a transaction. In any case, I’m still utterly confused on what actually happened this morning. But I do know that the coffee was pretty horrendous and not meant for human consumption. I also won’t be visiting this dunkin before noon, any day of the week, if ever, for the foreseeable future. I don’t expect sunshine and butterflies at 6 am, but I did expect a human, or at least to be treated like one. I’ve been here a few times before with no issues, but today, quite the experience. The Dunkin on cross keys, and the one down the pike by ShopRite are definitely better in my opinion and not that far out of the way from here. Unless you’re looking to attend boot camp with coffee that makes you gag, I’d stead...
Read moreThis is the WORST Dunkin location in likely the entire country! After sitting in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes with ONE CAR being served in that time my husband called and asked if the line was ever going to move and was told "there are plenty of other places to get coffee, go to one of them!" and was hung up on. My husband tried calling back stunned over the rudeness of the employee who said "screw you, have a nice day!" When asked for her name so we could call corporate and blocked his number so he couldn't call back to try asking for her name again.
They've also been out of COFFEE at 9am on a Sunday before, like zero coffee at all, not just that none was made at that moment, they had ZERO COFFEE period. Ridiculous. They've been out of cream, milk, bacon, even zero donuts of any kind.
Employees are out of control with how they treat customers, they can't even get more than 1 car served in 20 minutes, and whoever orders product should have been fired long ago. This problem did NOT start during the pandemic either, it's been this way for a minimum of 4 years. I honestly don't even know why my husband keeps bothering to stop there when we've driven off with completely wrong orders or sat there not moving for 15 minutes before driving off. After this we sure won't ever be going back again, not that I would have in the 1st place had I been...
Read moreI go to this dunkin almost every day as it's right next to my job. i get the same exact thing every day (iced cappuccino) and it's always very good. today they handed me my drink and it was basically frozen creamer. it wasn't iced, there was barely any espresso, frozen. I asked "i'm sorry is there any way I can have this remade because i didn't want it frozen" and the girl at the window was so nasty and gave me attitude for even asking and just goes "that's how it's made" and i just said i've never gotten it frozen before it's always iced. so she takes the drink from me and turns around and asks her coworker how it's made and they proceed to laugh about my request and saying "she's saying this isn't how she gets it" i'm sorry i get the same drink every day and it wasn't made how i'm used to getting it. i understand if i was rude about it but i said i was sorry and didn't want to be a pain but i didn't want it frozen. all she had to say was "no worries we can remake that for you" instead of being nasty and arguing with me on how...
