August 2025 Update: Been here twice recently. Both times had excellent, friendly and welcoming service. They are happy to let you taste something before committing. The Dark Premonition is amazing, probably the best beer I have had here. Food came out quickly and was quite good. Had fish and chips. Fish fillets were small but good flavor. Fried cheese curds are tasty, so are loaded potato skins. Everything cooked perfectly.

I like the outdoor area that is dog friendly. Has gates with good, solid latches, umbrellas at the tables, and plenty of picnic tables. There's even a patio bar for when it gets busy, I think there were 6 beers there. Still a gem of a place I highly recommend —----—-----—------

Service was good, friendly and prompt. Lots of different beers to choose from, I like the variety. Some beers didn't really match the type, such as sours. But still, lots to choose from and some were very good. They experiment with the beer, which is what I like about places such as this. Food is good, but hard to find something when you cannot eat dairy. Food prices seem a bit high, too. Beer prices are reasonable for the most part, on par with competitors. Inside there is plenty of seating for parties of various sizes. Open parking lot that gets cramped when busy. Overall it is a gem for the area and worth a little drive for something different and to...

Attended the Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Pint Night held here on Sunday, June 25, 2023. First time here. Great choice for a small get-together with friends.

Has fresh food chioces with different specials, kids menu, many ale choices, and even sells cider from a local cidery for those of us who do not drink ale. Would be nice if there were a few more cider flavors. You order by the bar, pay, then your food is brought out to you. There was an issue with our food order taking longer than usual, so the owners gave us complimentary drinks on the house, which was a nice gesture of hospitality. There were clean-up stations if you wanted to remove your dishes before the server came back to pick them up. Great idea when trying to keep the table clear with little ones.

The outside of the building is not much to look at, but the rustic log cabin interior is great with a big stone fireplace. Cozy, warm, and inviting.

Great family atmosphere. There are even tons of board games for kids to play and explore, and the whole family can participate in. Trivia is held on Thursday nights.

Has modern clean bathrooms and a deck out back. The only down side is that the brewery closed at 7 pm on a Sunday in the summer. Would be nice to be open a little later in the summer when it is warmer outside and stays...

Good food, good drinks, great atmosphere until the singer started his set. He was mostly Ok, but the volume was so loud we were yelling at each other. We asked if the volume could be adjusted just a bit and we're told No. Too bad, as we'd have stayed a lot longer and had more drinks and dessert. If it wasn't raining, would have moved to the patio area. Really wanted to be able to rate this a 5, as it was prior to the musician starting his set. We saw lots of tables get up and leave, hopefully management will realize they are losing business and find a happy medium. We will probably return, but on a night without music. Felt like we were at a class reunion...

Enjoyed the beers. Vista lager is pretty light, Mountain Pie sour ale is not very sour and does indeed taste like Peach cobbler. The fruity ales are a little too sweet for my taste. The Black and Blue burger was very good. and the semi curly fries were done well with just enough salt. Unfortunately, low quality tasting ketchup. The patio is nice with plenty of room and umbrellas for every table. Dogs on a leash are welcome. Listening to live music is enjoyable here. Comfortable seats and the acoustics are surprisingly good. Service is very friendly and attentive. All food and drinks are ordered at the bar, food will be brought to your table.

As another person put it Super tasty but pricey. It's definitely worth the visit. I do think the prices were a little higher than I expected ,but with that said the food was very good . The beer was very good .The one bad thing was no fountain drinks . I'm not a big fan of serving soda in a can in a restaurant setting. They could at least have a fountain drink machine that would be nice. That cost them a star in the rating. Also, water in a big jug ,to me, could also could be put in a fountain machine. Not every person drinks beer .
