Postmasters Coffee and Bakery — Restaurant in Washington Township

We stopped in here because my fiance really wanted to try this spot, and use it for her blog... The atmosphere is top notch. Perfect artisan coffee shop vibe..warm lighting, warm flowery decor, cozy couch. It really does have all the must haves.. atmosphere wise inside and out. We ordered two shots of espresso..which they were pulled properly. Crema looked amazing. Unfortunately it's a personal preference on the brand of coffee they serve..We're not fans of Passenger Coffee. Stowaway Blend is the espresso. My fiance ordered a to-go tea latte that the Barista had never made before..and it turned out pretty good. It was a white tea latte sweetened with vanilla. The tea was not super prominent..very mild. White tea is usually on the milder side already, but this was more so than usual..so definitely ask for light milk if you're ordering white tea. All in the all the drinks were good, and the Barista was helpful when ordering. They do have public gender neutral bathrooms! Bravo guys! Thank you. They do not display the safe have sticker on their window..but as far as I can tell they seem to be LGBTQ+ friendly..but don't quote me as I didn't not see anything saying...

I'm writing this review after my first experience at Postmasters. First impressions are strong!! The decor (especially the Christmas decorations) is beautiful - tasteful and elegant, but still welcoming. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and the right amount of conversational. The latte was delicious and perfectly made (I asked for it to be lightly sweetened with their vanilla brown sugar syrup, and the guy nailed it. So many places make drinks too sweet, even when asked to cut back the syrup, and this was just perfect). I was in a hurry, so I didn't get to try any of the pastries, but they looked wonderful. I can't wait to go back and test more stuff out!

So glad to see Waynesboro bringing in quality like this! I wish Smithsburg would...

So I have been wanting to stop in and check out this new place. Today my mom and I went to get something warm to drink. Pulled in parking lot and a very friendly welcoming lady came out and said I am sorry but we are closed. But she graciously offered us a Chia tea. Regardless. While she went in to get our drinks I checked time, they closed at 2:00 and it was 2:44. She not only brought our drinks out to us almost 45 minutes after they closed but she said “no charge just come back when we are open to try us out” Am definitely going back.
