GameStop — Local services in Washington Township

I've had better experiences at this location in the past, so I'll give it two stars. If I went off of tonights experience I'd only give it one star. When I came in to purchase a game, none of the 3 employees asked me if I needed help. I found the game and went to the counter, but then proceded to stand there awkwardly while the 3 employees fiddled with a ps3 and chatted amongst themselves. The one employee even came from the counter and walked in front of me without acknowledging if I needed help or ready to checkout. Finally another guy walked over to a computer and said he could ring me up. He took the game from me scanned it and never said anything to me. I put my card in the reader and kinda stood there. Still didnt say anything to me. After a few seconds of awkwardness I looked at the card reader and saw it asked if I wanted to give a phone number. He could of told me that, so we could finalize this transaction. I decline putting in my phone number and then as hes asking if I'd like a protection plan for the game the phone rings. I tell him no, but he's too busy talking to a customer on the phone. While hes still on the phone he hands me my receipt, doesnt ask if I want a bag, doesnt say thanks, DOESNT SAY ANYTHING. I said thanks to him and he still said nothing to me. This location has lost a customer. I'll just order online or go to...

Showed up a few minutes after they opened to pick up a new game today, but the store was still closed. No problem, things happen, I’ll stop in after getting gas and see if they are open then.

When I got into the store at 11:30, the first thing I get told from the employee was “Ugh, I don’t want to be here.”

Then I got told that they had no copies of the game I asked for, and that no other stores in our area have the game. She didn’t even try to check the inventory or contact another store for us.

I got back in my car after deciding not to purchase the other items I wanted, and within 2 min had found that the GameStops in Chambersburg and Hagerstown had the game in stock.

If you don’t want to work, then leave and let somebody who wants it have the job.

Been going to this Gamestop for years. Me n my daughter r both gamers and reserved Xbox One & Ps4 when they launched we also attend many midnight release parties..

The people at this store have become good friends of me n Haven. We miss Jeremy the old Manager who moved on but the others like Mary r still there n she is a sweetheart the same with the other woman with the pink hair down the middle..

I dont see her often cause now i work 12hr shifts im ni t in there're once a week like i use too but she is wonderful and there all r smart helpful and honest.. I wont go to any other store after the 1 girl at another store treated me so bad simply cause i interrupted her phone call with her BF.

I tell everyone if u want treated good go to Waynesboro Gamestop i hope this store never gets shut down cause then ill just have to buy...
