I am new & just moved to the area. I received a coupon sheet. I was driving back from my daughter having a baby 2 hrs and noticed this coupon in my car. It was a 4.99. Small meal which I double for 9.98. As I was talking and excited to try this new restaurant. The manager “ I am assuming”. jumped in between my conversation with the cashier and myself as he offered to cut the coupons.and I wanted to ad a Crab sauce. As well to my orders. And said. “SIR. These coupons are expired. I won’t accept them for purchase. You can’t use them, have a good day. I’m sorry” . And a turned away. While pointed at the date which I can’t see that print with the tap of “her pen”. I went and spent $20 at Hardee’s. I had there coupons. I used them twice. And they let me keep them so I could use them again. How nice. Even though Hardee’s was more expensive. They treated me fantistic. It’s not about the money. The coupon made my “mind want to try the place. “ but she just kicked me out and interrupted my conversation and ordered me and the cashier around like we were both dumb kids. The cashier was great! I order all catered lunches for over $105,000 a year for my work/company. I will never give this company my business or my company’s business. My 305 employees will never be catered by a business that cares about them saving two dollars on a coupon that I don’t know and the cashier didn’t know it was expired. She didn’t even apologize first and tell the money difference so I could keep my order going. She treated me like I was unwelcome. I left the restaurant and apologized with my head down when she bullied her way in over a first time order and customer. I never even got to try the food unfortunately, I don’t care about the money or the coupon. When someone is eating and has the money, which I clearly did. Just make me feel welcome. I can’t read the fine print. I wasn’t going to argue with her. But I just got the coupons recently. I didn’t have my glasses. Even though she clearly wanted me out of her restaurant. I got the feeling like she owned the place. So she can do...
Read moreWe have gone here a lot. The last time we went, a manager talked to us the whole time we ate. He even rang up the BOGO times 2. Every time we have gone in and once thru the drive-thru, we order the BOGO twice. That means 4 sandwiches, 2 paid for with 2 free. We really liked the food and the staff. Went tonight thru the drive-thru. They had BOGO bbq beef. I ordered 2 meaning 4 sandwiches total. Guy came on speaker and said “I’m sorry there’s a limit of one BOGO per customer. I asked him “when did that start?” He said “it’s always been that way.” I explained to him that we always go there and get the BOGO times 2. He said “I am the owner so whoever has been doing that shouldn’t be.” He said “have a nice day” and cut speaker off! Will never go there again. You are the owner and you are that rude!!! You lost our business and we will tell all our friends!!! With that kind of attitude, you will lose customers buddy! So my husband went on your FB to put a review. Your response was you did it as a favor for us. Really? All the times we came in were a favor to give us the BOGO? You keep track of your customers? You are a liar. When I came thru the drive-thru, you said you were the owner and your workers should not be doing more then one BOGO per customer. Now you are saying it was done as a “favor.” You keep changing your story. Worst customer...
Read moreHad a sort of unfortunate run in on a Sunday afternoon with a manger at this establishment. Came in with a party of 4 and placed our order at the counter. I asked for a salad with pit beef and a side of sweet potato fries. Counter clerk rang it up as a wrap but never said the word wrap, as we would have corrected him quickly. Food arrived at our table and I sent it back since it was a wrap and not the salad I ordered. I understand this happens and the food was good but....... The manager (I assume since he had lots of keys and seemed cranky) came to the table to charge us the difference between the salad price and the wrap price. Stating that since the counter clerk had read it back to us it was on us. I asked him why we were being charged the difference if we had stated clearly what we wanted. He backed down and did not force us to pay the 2.10 but I'm curious as to why he would approach is in the first place. I assume that the 2:10 was worth more to him then our future return. I loved the sweet potatoes and would love to have them again someday but will probably...
