I went there again last week (June second week) the guy overcharges for vegetables and double meat. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL, double meat turkey is $8.29 + $3.00 but he adds 5.00 for a double meat foot long.
This is a really nice place, well behaved family run deli. The lady, the son and may be the two girls who seem like the daughters are really good sandwich makers who treat the customers really well. The MAN is stingy to the CORE, he skims on vegetables. There is something called meat to vegetable ratio, when a sandwich is made one has to keep that in mind. The OLD GUY skims on all the vegetables, the very reason I go to SUBWAY is because I like raw vegetables now if you skim on that it’s just meat and bread. The OLD GUY puts 4 leaves of spinach and spreads it on a foot long sandwich. When asked for more, showed me attitude he puts 6 sliced olives on a foot long sandwich and spreads it again. I know that’s how they save money, skimming on expensive vegetables … but where is the standard. Once again if the OLD GUY is there just walk away, the rest of the crew...
Read moreThis subway is now operated by an elderly immigrant couple (likely from India or Pakistan). They were mostly friendly, but you need to know these before you go there: 1) They do NOT accept most good coupon such as BOGO. For other not-so-good coupons (e.g., $7 footlong), they allow them only on some low-cost sandwiches, so you won't save much. They also did not seem happy if you try to use a coupon. 2) They were a little too frugal on putting vegetables on your sandwich. You would get only a little bit for each. The lettuce also looked not fresh when I was there. They might be frugal on the hygiene necessities, such as using the same gloves for making your sandwich and taking your cash. I know it may not be easy for them to make money, so they had to be frugal. But, despite it is close to my apartment, I will take my business...
Read moreEchoing what others have said, this guy will make you feel like a criminal if you use a coupon or redeem a promotion. Worse, he intentionally left out ingredients (avocado) I ordered because I used a promotion. I wrote in to subway with a complaint and asked for a refund because I didn't get the sandwich I ordered and he sent back a boilerplate response with no refund or admission of guilt.
And before the owner TP comes on and says please give us one more chance like he has in every other instance you can read about in the reviews... Why? What has changed? Has your vision of how corporate coupons and promotions can work for your business changed? Are you going to continue to cancel orders because they ordered something as designed on the subway app (which he did to me)? Would love to hear what he's going to do...
