DO NOT order after 7 at this location! The staff could care less about your order. They just want to mop the floors and lock the doors! Who owns/manages this PIADA location? This is the 3rd time we have ordered at this location, and the service is TERRIBLE & the orders are always messed up! It's ridiculous, and ALWAYS involves your closing staff! We truly do love Piada's menu & have been customers for years at a different location. But this location? NOPE. Tonight, I ordered Carbonara Pasta, which your menu states - Pasta, parmesan alfredo, bruschetta tomatoes, pancetta (bacon), spinach, grated parmesan plus I added grilled chicken. Oh, and I also ordered a pepperoni stick WITH creamy parmesan (cold). Guess what??? NO creamy parmesean! Three strikes & you're out! Be prepared. I'm bringing tonight's order in so you can taste & see for yourself! A bowl of pretty dry spaghetti with barely any diced tomatoes & dry chicken. This was completely covered in spinach leaves, and a sprinkling of grated parmesean that had "spider web" melted on the layer of spinach leaves. Where is the PARMESAN ALFREDO & PANCETTA?? I swear they covered up the pasta so you couldn't see how poorly prepared the bowl was. Last time I ordered? Avocado Chop WITH CHICKEN. Guess what? Got home & NO CHICKEN. Drove back, and they said they would refund the order. GUESS WHAT? They refunded $2.69 for the chicken. The gas to drive there & back was more than $2.69! This location in the evenings is a waste of your time.

We are in town for a mini-vacation and wanted a quick bit. It came down to this place or thai food, and the wife chose it here. I am quite pleased she did. The food was fast and easy, like most counter order restaurants. It didn't take us long to settle in on something, and the staff was prompt and helpful. I ordered the pesto pasta with steak chunks, whike the wife set her eyes in the avocado chop salad with chicken. We both opted for the small portions, and we're glad we did so. The portions here are quite fair and a small easily fed one person. The bigger bowls (regular) could serve two persons, in my opinion. The place itself is spacious and modern, with wood tables and open concept. Even the kitchen area is on display for the customers to see. I liked it a lot. Also, there is an outside area for dining if you so wished. We stayed inside as the heatwave was better fought indoors. Would recommend and hope we get one of these restaurants in the metro Detroit area. We are lacking in quick service italian food options.

I love Piada. My favorite is the avocado burrito but in a salad with no bacon. Best dish ever. The Parmesan Cheese Stick. The only thing about the atmosphere today is that a new trainee dropped my husband's avocado on the counter and almost placed it in his bowl until a supervisor said something. She was also by the bathroom on the phone, complaining about her boss. Very unprofessional. Other than that it was great.

My last Piada visit took place close to 2 months ago, here's what happened: I ordered online along with 2 of my colleagues at work and headed over to pickup the food. One of my coworkers came with me. When we arrived, two of the three orders were ready. We had arrived at noon for a pickup at noon; I thought, no sweat I'll just check with the guy and see if it's coming up.

The manager happened to be behind the counter and I asked him to check on my other coworker's order and he told me it was coming out shortly. Pleased with that answer, I waited five minutes. I then inquired again, and again he went into the back area for 10 seconds and told me it was coming. At this point my colleague and I began to eat our food in the lobby while waiting for the third order. I continued to inquire about the third order over the next ten minutes, politely, and he kept telling me he was on it. It wasn't even busy.

After eating our food and being at Piada for over 25 minutes on a pickup order, I started losing my patience. I told the manager that a pickup order shouldn't be 25 minutes late. He told me that I'd already gotten my food; like he hadn't listened at all to what I had informed him of multiple times before. The dude thought I was some sort of food thief. I then gave him the name on the order again and told him to look it up; they never made it.

He then disappeared into the back room for about a minute before returning with my 3rd colleagues meal and said "Here you go." No apology or anything. I had explained the situation at least 5 times before he made any attempt at correcting the issue.

I left a complaint with Piada; they made no effort to reach out to me about it. My colleague that went there left a complaint; they offered him a gift card and never sent it. Then ignored his follow up. As far as I know the manager that thought I was a food thief or something still works there. I feel like 2 months is plenty of time to address these sorts of issues but Piada didn't feel like it so here's...

If i could give no stars I would. Went here yesterday the customer service was horrible. I ordered my food, my pick up time was at 6:15 pm. I was across the street so I decided to go early because I didn't think it would take too long. I may have got there maybe a little before 6. I decided I would get some breadsticks. Was in the line but they weren't acknowledging me so I just went over to wait for my food. It then gets to 6:30 and I asked about my order the lady tells me they had and on app promo so they are backed up my order will come when it does. At 6:40 I decide again to get breadsticks so I go over and the lady tells me their only doing online orders. I told her I've been waiting on my online order so I wanted to get some breadsticks. We get to the register and she asks my name to pull up my order. She then tells me I can't give them to you free. I said did I ask for them for free. I'm thinking anyways that would of been a thought of courtesy, but I just paid and told her if you guys knew you had a promotion going on that should have been mentioned in the pick up time. My order is ready at 6:45 she just hands me my bag without an apology for the wait time. They actually never apologized to anyone for their wait time. I will never spend my money...
