Brookland S Market & Deli — Restaurant in Washington

The neighborhood will be better when this places closes. The current owners run this establishment with no pride. The heat doesn't work and its dirty. There is no hot food in the kitchen anymore. Maybe 14 months ago. If you ask the answer is no. Men hang out and block the entrance. Drugs are sold in the store and at the door. There is nothing to buy but soda and beer. The snack section is not well stocked and the rest is full of cheap snacks no one buys. I wish they would fix this place up. I won't even go there to buy...

Very nice store. Has everything you need plus more. Owner and staff are very nice. The prices are reasonable with a good selection of food, even some fruits, veggies, meats, and cheeses....

They will not cook anything fresh for you. They cook a lot at one time and then put all the food in a warmer. Their curry chicken plate lacks flavor. Just stick to buying snacks...
