So normally, anytime my father and I want to go out for a burger we go to this Burger King on Fairgrounds Rd in Bremerton, WA if possible. If we find ourselves out of town then we try to check out a Burger King at another location because there's a particular burger on the menu that he and I just happened to prefer and it always seems to taste best coming from this restaurant.
That said, after what happened to me today, I don't believe my father or I will ever go to Burger King to eat again.
Today is Tuesday, January 9th 2024 and the time was around 8:30 p.m. tonight. I had been making deliveries for DoorDash and decided to take my 35 minute "pause" break and since I was relatively close to this restaurant and the parking lot was empty I figured it'd be okay to park in one of the spaces across the lot from the front of the restaurant.
Roughly 30 minutes after parking, a Burger King employee comes out and tells me that his manager can see me on the drive-thru camera and is going to be calling the cops on me soon. "For what‽" I asked. "For sitting there in your car" he answered!
I am not joking or exaggerating in the least, those are exact quotes! Completely baffled, I foolishly said thank you to him and then relocated my car to somewhere else until my break was over and I was ready to resume Dashing.
I wasn't doing anything to harm anyone or causing any kind of mischief. I was just relaxing and browsing the internet on my phone.
What kind of person would do that to someone for no good reason? Not only is it unnecessarily harassing an innocent person, it is also wasting the time and resources of the local police department. (And in this case, losing the restaurant to paying patrons)
The exact same thing actually happened to me about a week ago in a Safeway parking lot after I had bought gas at the Safeway gas station. Except that time the cops did get called and the local sheriff did come out and knock on my car door. I just don't understand...
Read moreSo i went here at like 6pm. The place was all dark when I pulled up and if other cars hadn't been in the drive thru I would of just figured they were closed. I don't know if they close the lobby early and just do drive thru everyday but this was my experience, which was kind of a bummer because my 8 year old was excited to play in their play area. Went through the drive through, employees were incredibly friendly. My driver side window doesn't roll down so my son ordered and paid and then received the food and they were exceptionally patient with him lol. I ordered the royal chicken sandwich, thinking it was similar to McDonald's crispy chicken deluxe...I was mistaken. My son ordered a whopper Jr meal and a side of nuggets. I also got a small soft serve. So the ice cream was so so. I don't think I would order that again or go out of my way for it. The gal at the intercom offered to put it in a cup for me which I appreciated. My son started in on his nuggets and after one bite passed them up to me and said they tasted funny and asked if they accidentally gave us spicy ones. They were not spicy but they had almost a washed out remnant taste of spicy maybe? Regardless they did not taste good, and not like they were bad or rotten lol they just didn't taste great. He did inhale his whopper Jr and then asked to share my burger with me which he usually does. But when I opened and took a bite of mine and realized mine tasted like a big version of those nuggets I tried to just give him the whole thing to which he denied. So there was $6 for the sandwich and $3 worth of nuggets immediately thrown away. The fries were good. All in all it was a reminder of why we don't usually go there. Even a coupon for a bogo sandwich meal isn't enticing enough. Will For SURE be going right across the street to the...
Read moreWow! Embarrassing! 9:40 this morning. I pulled through the drive thru and when I began to order. I asked if they served the bacon Kings at this time. Was told no immediately by the cashier when I overheard on the mic someone screaming loud, saying, "YES WE CAN" in a condescending tone(I'm assuming this is the manager on duty). So I proceeded to order it. If they allow it, it shouldn't be an issue. I then asked if they were serving shakes. It's a fair question, right? I wouldn't be upset if they said no. But instead I just heard a really loud "UGHHHHH" in the background. Complaining like a child. So at that point, I just said, "Never mind, I'll go somewhere else." For the MANAGER ON DUTY THIS MORNING - I recommend, since you hate your job and your life so much, to find a better one. My backstory is i had to leave work because I needed to go to the hospital and did not have time to prepare a meal at home. And that's why I came through your drive thru. Idk if you had trauma in your childhood that caused you to stop mentally growing past the age of 12. But that's not how adults work. Maybe some therapy or mediation will help. I'm embarrassed for you, and I hope this review finds you well. It's also very convenient that when I called to complain after that you let the phone ring 3 times. I usually don't take my time out of my day to make sure this reaches any type of higher-ups. But your nasty attitude is gross, and it will be my pleasure to let your boss know that you're getting paid minimum wage to throw tantrums on the floor. I have all the time today!❤️💅
Just found out the manager on duty name was Faith!! Definitely was the one screaming on...
