Not impressed, I LOVE burgerville, hubs not so much due to how high prices have always been but I appreciate the quality of their food & love that they use local providers!... that being said, took the fam for a little late after dinner snack/meal & dessert... we started with just food, ordered 4 pc fish & chips and 5 pc chicken & chips to split between 2 adults & 2 little kids, it was about $43ish if I remember right with tip... in the typical hecticness with kids, I forgot their water bottles in the car & asked for 2 water cups to be met with okay there's a charge (obviously not his fault) I asked for what water?? He said the cups, I said never mind I'll grab bottles from car, he again said we have to charge for cups - it's only a little, $.25...... again, I said yeah, never mind...... I'm aware it's only $.25 but imagine, although I didn't have to because it happened, charging .25 for a water cup when you food is priced extraordinarily high and again I get quality, local, take care of employees but that's the kind of thing I'm like okay yeah never mind not coming here anymore... how silly, it just feels greedy... I'll also, add we got dessert after, a hot fudge sundae, small chocolate shake & large raspberry shake both with whipped cream, that was $15+ w tip, ONLY because I had a birthday reward... once again, I'm aware they charge for whipped cream & have been (insert HUGE eye roll) I think it's stupid and drives me crazy yet here we are so we wait and when they deliver, the shakes have flat top lids, like on a coffee, maybe they were out of dome lids I guess I don't really care, but excuse me if you're going to charge $.50 for whipped cream, I'd actually like to have some whipped cream!?!!! My gosh... just lame & feels like money grabs everywhere anymore, at some point places are gonna go out of business because it's all getting to be excessive. I won't say we'll never be back but it'll be a very very long time, we make really good milk shakes at home!!! But also, Costco's right next door now, they have a deal on a strawberry ice cream and it tastes delicious!!! Customers gotta be...
Read moreLet me tell you, theres Nothin more pleasant than headin to BV with the bois after a nice Skyview Vs. River rumble down at the bowl. Taking turns ordering as the honeys wait in the booth for me and the best buds to get our grub selected.
It feels like home, a safe place for vancouver outcasts wating to take on the world as soon as highschool ends.
Now, about the food. A very fine selection of cuisine perfect for many of my moods,
Service is always pristine. Especially from this one worker. I think his name was Noel? Noel Smith i think. Hes always working hard and honestly makes my day every time hes working.
And also one boy names Terrince? Terrence Hillman? Hes always so energetic and great.
Something that kinda throws me for a loop is the very strange and claustrophobic parking lot. I feel like even if I arrived straddling the thinnest yet nobestlest steed, it would still take me half the elapsed time of my visit to parallel park. This is a bit of a nitpick, but if the establishment didn't have the most satisfying and promising halibut sandwiches on this side of the Willamette, this would be a larger concern.
Another nitpick but if i am in the dining room enjoying my delicious turkey burger no spread or mayo, hold thr pickle with a large fry and chipotle mayo and hear over the blasting speakers "Im am animal!" One more time , i will gladly sacrifice my well being and go to the burger king across the street for nuggies that arent even half good
On the other hand there was this one man named paul. Very tall older man. Always very passive aggressive.
One more thing. Cut it out with how clean you make your floors. I always am slipping up a storm. Its like you want me to spill my meal of a small burger and small fries i paid a fortune to obtain with money i got mowing neighbors lawns and delivering newspaper
P.s cut it out with all that coworker drama. Its a fast food restaurant not a episode of a soap opera
Love ya guys!!! -lee...
Read moreFamily/Kid Friendly Burger Joint The family and I stopped in at Burgerville in Vancouver, WA for an impromptu lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to find a "family" area in the back of the restaurant that had a few adult-sized tables, as well as a couple of child-sized picnic-style table/benches, books and toys. My 3 yr old had a blast and my wife and I didn't feel bad about letting her play, explore and make (a little bit of) noise, as we were tucked all the way in the back of the regular restaurant.
In addition, they have table service - so you don't need to stand around at the front of the restaurant while waiting for your order. They'll happily walk your order to your table.
I did take off 1 star and that's because I had the Fish & Chips. Now, I've eaten many burgers and shakes from Burgerville over the last decade and I've always appreciated the high quality ingredients they use. I wish I could boast about the fish and chips - but really, they were disappointing. You get 3 fairly small pieces of breaded fish, resembling something from the frozen food aisle. Its taste was, meh...nothing special.
Family friendly space that offers yummy food made with high-quality ingredients...but stick to the...
