I placed a mobile order & arrived 3 minutes before the estimated time for pickup. I went through the drive through as I currently have Covid. With 5 cars ahead, I let them know that I had a mobile order. The worker states that I just placed the order and it wasn’t done, I would have to come in. She kept repeating it was a large order. My order is always similar & never had this issue. It was 7 meal deals. 2 cheeseburgers & fries & 5 chicken strips with fries. I asked if it would be done by the time estimated, she said no. I said well can you cancel the order? She said “you’ll have to do that yourself, we can’t cancel”, well I couldn’t either so after I waited in the drive thru for 20 mins, they wouldn’t serve me there. Again, I’m currently Covid positive & didn’t want to potentially infect other patrons. So I sent my teenagers in. They insisted they get the drinks themselves, odd because I’ve always had my drinks done with a mobile order, otherwise why I did I specify each drink flavor with each meal? Another woman said she waited over 20 mins in the lobby for a single item and wasn’t happy. I finally get the food & this was one of the meals I paid for. There is no excuse other than being petty. The other meals also had what looked like old, overdone fries & looked nothing like the meals we usually receive. Unfortunate this female worker behaved this way, we visit very often & our 4 kids enjoy their DQ trips, I likely won’t visit this location again. If she doesn’t enjoy her job in customer service, I suggest she find...
Read moreListen, I get that 'the food industry is hurting' but that in no way is an excuse for the workers to not be trained on customer service. I ordered a large snickers blizzard, a large royal cheesecake blizzard and a small regular cone. As I waited for my order the girl that had literally just taken my order said here's your fry and I replied that I didn't order a fry. She just stood there and then handed me my two blizzards. So I stood and waited for my cone. She asked me what I was waiting for and I said I was waiting for my cone. I looked at my receipt and saw she had charged me for a fry. She said she must have misheard me which is fine so I repeated that I had ordered a small regular cone. She turned around made a cone and handed it to me. I then had to ask if a small cone was really $3.29 she said I gave you a medium because it's close to the same price. I didn't order a medium and I wasn't offered my change because it was 'close enough'. $2.69 for a small cone that I ordered, $3.09 for the medium cone I received and $3.29 for the fry I was charged for. Why wasn't I offered the twenty cent refund? It's not a big deal money wise obviously but it's a big deal service wise. Then to get home and realize the royal blizzard that they charge extra for didn't have a strawberry center. Do you guys receive...
Read moreAs far as fast food, this Dairy Queen is average, it seems it doesn't matter the time of day, my wife and I have received decent service most of the time. We don't get an actual meal very often, we mainly get desserts. I used to get a medium blizzard, now stick with a small for the lack of blending. Out of the six times this summer, I have only had one blizzard mixed completely to the bottom.
Update: During the last year with a half dozen stops here, the service is still about average over all. We have had a third of the Blizzards actually mixed, though one time they skimped on the Oreo crumbs so much so that it tasted like plain vanilla ice cream. For the most part, the young teenage workers try their best. We don't know if the manager is also a young adult or if there is one there at all when we stop in for a treat.
Update 2018/07/25: consistency is what can be said about this DQ. Since the last update, my wife and I have only been to this location four times. Yes just desserts is all we have had those four times. My wife gets the fudge sundae with extra fudge. They do charge for the extra, you get plenty though. Sadly out of the four times my Oreo blizzard was only completely mixed once. I haven't been skimped on Oreo though, a...
