This store practices deceptive and false advertising. Big sign inside door says, discount-closeouts-damaged. What it does NOT say is USED! We bought an Oster Microwave today, only to get it home and find dried food stuff covering the inside of it - YUCK! When I took it back, the women behind the counter gave me what sounded like a pat answer she had used many times before "Some people take them home and bring them back used before thirty days are up". Uh huh, sounds legit to me. Now this seems like a very LOGICAL, cough, answer as to why there would be disgusting food in it, but then it would be USED right! NOT damaged-discount-or closeout but USED. If someone took it home and USED it that means it is USED, not any of the other terms. Then the woman on returns had the gall to ask me, in a very snotty tone, if I had looked at it before I took it. I told her I had, and told her I was looking for damage to a NEW item, so my examination ONLY covered the outside of the item and I had NO idea they were pawning off used goods as new, when in fact they were used and disgusting. I did not waste my time to try and explain the difference between USED and "damaged-discount-or closeout" to any of them as I am quite certain they have heard it all before. DO NOT buy an appliance of any kind here. DO NOT expect polite treatment if you have a return. Many of the items for sale here can be found elsewhere cheaper and NEW - NOT USED! I am quite certain that there are health issues and other consumer issues involved here...
Read moreI'm a Costco addict and had just spent a significant amount of time at Costco prior to my first visit to Spokane Discount. It was nice to see that you could buy many single items that normally come in multi packs however when I priced them out individually, they were certainly more separate than packaged even at the "discount" rate. Prices were normal Costco rates or more when priced this way. Many items were not discounted and many were only $5 or less off of the original price. For this reason I will stick to Costco so that I can get my cash back on my membership. Also the employees were incredibly unprofessional. I walked passed multiple employees that were scoffing at things, openly arguing, and nagging about things being VERY rude to one another in front of not only myself but other customers. It was embarrassing and quite a turn off, especially because I'd use the word discount lightly. It's quite terrible service with "discount" slapped on the...
Read moreI am all about supporting small local businesses, but this place is a complete rip off! I found linen bedding they were selling for $69 when you could buy it on Amazon same brand for $49! Where is that discount?.. Today, however it was actually funny. I searched Facebook market for a griddle and of course it started giving me all the local suggestions. Spokane discount did and add that they got some⌠however!!! Itâs everything except the discount haha Also, their interaction with their employee was very professional when I told them that the exact same griddle is sold for $50 less they continue to telling me that itâs not the same however, they posted pictures of the model number so trust me itâs the same exact griddle! Definitely wouldnât suggest for anyone looking for a good deal! The conversation ended with their employee writing me. Youâre fired. Hahahaha And then blocking the conversation! It might not be a discount, but it is...
